Dear sir/ma,
I am directed to acknowledged the receipt of your  email and inform you that the Scheme currently doesn't have Budgetary Provision to accommodate your request at the moment.
2.     While wishing you the best in your business endeavour, please accept the warm regard of the Head of Operations.

Pls can I have their email. I need to get the outstanding payment form and make some complains. Thanks

Are you an employer? It is only employers that can do the outstanding payment complaints not interns.

Thank you for raising this issues cos GIS payment is becoming discouraging. but the FMF inspection rep told us that the lack of budget approval is also causing the delay, that's why new interns are not being taken into the programme.

the one they pay now is from past admin budget, I pray there'll approve the budget soon otherwise payment will be hard and new interns won't be invited due to finance. But as for GIS,, it will be continue cos its under 500b social welfare.

I hope this administration will wake up from their slumber soon.
God bless Nigeria....

Hopefully they will continue. Budget will be passed by 17th....unless the padding and fraud in the budget will hinder it.

Saraki's court trial is also delaying the budget approval, they are playing politics with our budget, using delaying tactics in the process. God will help us in this country.

if yes, then there's no cause to worry, you'll be paid but if you still doubt, send an email to GIS.

Any complaints regarding payment should only be inquired through an employer to finance@gisurep.gov.ng and info@gisurep.gov.ng between every 1st to 7th of every month and to be repeated till your ish is resolved. (Be it training alawi or stipend payment or outstanding).....

Goodmorning to all interns,
this house is becoming too quiet, seems the number of interns left in the programme is less and some interns are not aware that this forum exist.

Hope the screening exercise is on-going? Lets come back together and make our voice known to GIS/FMF/Presidency.

Lets keep sending complains about lack of payment on facebook, tweet, GIS customer care. Hopefully, our voices will be heard. Thank you.

Wishing you all a successful week...

God Bless Nigeria.

Thank you for this. Actually, I was about posting like 30mins before yours, but I just kept my peace. I don't know why people here kept silent about their entitlements. I saw this a.m that the details of the budget will be published next week. I will still reiterate that all we need do is take actions "PATRIOTS NEVER KEEP MUTE"...We need to be heard by those I mentioned earlier...I even asked a question last week in which no body responded. Anyway all in Gods hand

here is an excerpt from that Chris Ngige Interview

After reading this, all I could do was smh

just how low can a government get?

I have never been a PDP supporter but I couldn't help it but say some words of adulation for GEJ and his economic team for some of their laudable programmes (this GIS inclusive).

On the controversy over FG’s payment of N5000 to jobless Nigerians

Dr. Chris Ngige:
We will not give N5000 for people to go and sit down at home and be sleeping; we won’t give the money to loafers and indolent persons. We are going to give to categories of people that fall under the three programmes we have packaged.

The first programme is Teach Nigeria. It is a programme we take graduates, NCE holders, education and professional graduate majors, comprising geologists, biologists, lawyers, engineers, scientists, pure and applied scientists as adhoc teachers.

In this category, Nigerians will be converted to emergency and auxiliary teachers. They will undergo training, depending on where they are domiciled. If it is near the training centre,we can give them N5000 each as transport fare.
(per month o - my words)
After the training, which might be two or three months, we will now synchronise with the state government and deploy the beneficiaries not to federal schools but state schools.

It is not also true that we will only deploy them to primary schools. Some of them will go to secondary schools. We have told the NUT that they are partners in progress on this matter because we recognise teaching as a profession. We equally recognise the teachers’ registration council.

Just as we have council for medical persons, nurses, the teachers’ council will be part of the programme. They would be certified to start teaching. If, for instance, the engineers secure employment elsewhere, other persons will take up their teaching position.

We want to domicile the management of the centres under the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), a parastatal under the Ministry of Labour. The specialist capacity centres can take many graduates, the Lagos and Bauchi centres can take over 4000 trainees each in a cycle of training. It is the same for Lafia and Enugu centres that can take as high as 2000 trainees each.

We will graduate them in that cycle and based on the degree of certification received from the NDE vocational centres, the beneficiaries will migrate to the next category for specialisation in order to have Trade Test Certificate graded into certificate one, two and three.

The trade certificates are the progenitors and replacement for the former City and Guild Certificates recognised all over the world including Europe, America and Canada. Holders of that certificate can be employed in Nigeria or outside the country under a Labour Migration System. We are partnering International Organisation for Labour Migration (IOM) system, a European Union-based organisation.

That is why we have made it clear that we are now creating pink and blue-collar jobs because there are no white-collar jobs anywhere for this administration to give Nigerians. We are facing mining, agricultural development/farming, rice, tomato cultivation, palm tree development so that we stop the importation of rice, palm oil and even tomato puree.

We are going into fish farming, bee and honey development programmes. We are concentrating on agriculture and mining as part of skill acquisition and blue collar jobs. The pink collar jobs are the service providers from those who acquire service skills. Among them are computer, GSM phones repairers, cake bakers, mechatronics, hairdressing and barbers. Some of them will be required to do five hours for two days and 10 hours in one week. They may do 20 hours or more in a month to qualify to collect N5000. There are others that will do more hours maybe because of their involvement in helping FRSC in traffic control or other type of community work which will involve working three times in a week. This category of persons cannot collect the same amount like others. They will get N10,000.

Two major pointers which I used in calculating when stipend payment will come, which have never failed during my internship days is;

1.) Whenever government shares fed. allocation
2.) Whenever fed. government pays for the immediate month, then sure-p last 2months will be paid.

If the above happens, then max of 3-4days, alerts will start rolling-in.

Longest time, @writetopoker.

The question now is, has federal government paid for, January?
Secondly, I think allocations hasn't been shared.
