He pulled more crowd than this in the run up to the 2011 election and still failed at the polls. This ain't gonna be any different. Until he pulls such crowd in Aba, he's just wasting energy.

What an irony. When it comes to political rallies for selfish political ambitions Buhari and other leaders of the north will pull CROWD. But when it comes to solving national problems, like rein in on Boko Haram insurgents to stop the mayhem, leaders in the north become POWERLESS. Why cant northern leaders organise anti-Boko haram rallies in the north? Why cant APC governors of Borno and Yobe, alongside Buhari (as leader of APC in the north) organise anti-Boko haram rallies in affected states? Is it that they dont consider the Boko haram menace big enough to warrant such intervention? Wont it be to the credit of APC if thru such mobilizations the current mayhem in those states stops?

Rather than participate in finding solutions to the problem, APC and Buhari are trying to ride on the back of the blood shed in those states to Aso Rock.

Anyway, since the political and religuous leaders in the north have decided to be lukewarm on this issue of Boko haram and if eventually the ongoing dialogue efforts fail, the govt will be left with no other option but to continue and INTENSIFY the military campaigns in affected states. One thing is certain, those who hope to climb to Aso Rock through the blood shed in the north will be FATALLY disappointed

You are a real clown! Now you people think Buhari holds the solution to solving the Bokoharam crisis you power hungry wiggles created? Oh, for crying out loud, did your GEJ not say Buhari was behind Bokoharam

One thing is sure, those who through deceit, falsehood and election manipulation got into Aso Rock will never know peace all of their days on earth!

Don't know about the rest of you, but the prospect of Dis guy(Buhari), becoming President for the second time, will tell very badly on Nigeria as a nation.

What vision can an oldman like Buhari have that eludes the teeming youths of Nigeria? Why the old dreams of an old man? Why return to the looting days of Miliary Rule with no hope for change?

I doubt Buhari will ever hand power to a Southern after his 8years tenure? Is this the future we truily want for the next generation?(our kids)

Nigeria go forward and not back to the Nigeria defeat Biafra glory years? Embrace a new vision and a new future. Think!

If the people vote him in, what's our business what it tells on Nigeria as a nation.

What do you mean by Buhari handing over to a southerner? Are we not in a democratic dispensation where people contest and be votes for.

Such crowd cannot be pulled anywhere in the south because, unlike in the north, there is no ALMAJIRI system in the south. The northern political elites deliberately created the almajiri and other DEPENDENCY system so they can easily mobilize crowd for mayhem or electioneering.

No matter how popular a politician is in the south, you cant get that sort of crowd. That does not mean that on election day people will not come out to vote in the south on election days but not many southerners will be willing to leave behind their source of livelihood to grace a mere political campaign. You can only get such crowd in the south during RELIGIOUS gatherings. But in the north, RELIGION and politics are indistinguishable.
