This is one of the reasons why you will see a man who got married to a good and beautiful woman or even to a virgin find it hard to make babies with his wife. Many of them have gone for medical tests and have been proved medical fit but yet babies are not coming. Same goes with some women, who got married to good men or even to an undefiled men, find it difficult to make babies with their husbands. Abortion is a murder and murder attracts curses. The man and the woman who had pre marital or extral marital affair that resulted in pregnancy which ended in abortion have serious prayers to make. And will definitely suffer for the sin when the time is ripe except if God intervens on their behalf.

All arguements said and done, this is inhumane and one can say they have never killed a human being before if they have aborted.

I also think becouse people are not shown the reallity of the act, like being given the foetus to bury or see after abortion for visual impact makes it easier to do the same act again. They become de-attached coz they did not see exactly what was killed and disposed off. My take!

The intention of the thread is not to point fingers and judge but to create awareness of exactly what goes on when one undergoes the procedure becouse very few people really understand what is involved. If you wanna attack, judge and curse those you deem to be Christians well its your right but killing an innocent fully development foetus in a merciless manner is cruel and that is not Christianity talking but Humanity.

Ending abortions isn't about making legislature and rendering abortions illegal. Abortions are from unwanted pregnancies, which are a result of unsafe sex or failed contraception (rare). It's similar to what I said in a health thread some months back. In order to solve this problem, the root of the problem must be found and tackled.

When you're ready to discuss safe sex options and preventative measures, then I'm interested. It's no surprise that the most religious parts of the world have the highest sex crimes, even in the US. Health education is the way forward. Abolishing abortions will solve absolutely nothing.

Abstinence is not really a reliable prevention technique hence I have not mentioned it as a fruitful option. And ofcourse what an individual decides to do is their own decision. Just creating awareness as many people do not have an idea of what happens in when one aborts. It is their right to be informed by revealing the gruesome details of the procedure and its up to each person to say whether the foetus is a human being or not.

I am sorry to see that the picture of the foetus has been removed becouse it settles the argument of whether a foetus is a human being or not. And how are people suppose to make informed decisions when information is taken from them?. .

The picture below is of a baby carried to term and delivered. Compare that foetus to this baby and tell me why that foetus would not be called a human when this baby is?

Knowladge is power! When people know better they make more informed decisions.

Every woman has a right to do what they want with their body. If rape, accidental pregnancy, financial situations, illness or illness of the foetus causes them to think twice about having it then they do have the right to abort. But if you're going to abort make sure it's just in it's early stages not when the foetus is fully formed and abled to survive outside the womb.
And don't just abort left right and centre. Family planning, condoms, morning after pill, they even have pills you can take 5days later if you're lazy to take the 72hour one.

That's not exactly true. If a fetus has everything a human being has, then it should be able to survive and thrive on its own. There's a reason why abortions are legal until late-term (varying on the state or country). Late-term abortions are illegal because fetuses have a higher chance at surviving.

Revealing gruesome details doesn't solve anything either. If you're anti-abortion, then you should be anti-what-leads-to-abortion, and that's unwanted pregnancies via molestation, unsafe sex, or failed contraception. If you think gruesome details will work, then you should take a look at what's happening in the United States. It's a disgusting argument and reduces women's rights. As a woman, that's not the kind of situation in which I'd like to find myself. I'd like to make a decision because it was my call and not because someone swayed me.
For those whom will be swayed, they will either carry a child they're not ready to have, carry a child and luckily grow a stable family, or mental issues will burden the mother, which could lead to miscarriage, aka spontaneous abortion.

I hope in the midst of all this that one considers the mother. I know in certain arguments in the US, it's as if the mother isn't considered at all. I don't find a developing embryo or fetus more important than its mother. A healthy mother, in terms of physical, emotional, and mental health, is the best host for a developing being. Too many times do women who aren't healthy or prepared give birth, and they can't provide for their children. To me, that's unfair fate for that born child. I know there's no such thing as an ideal situation, but I think we should be striving towards babies being born in ideal environments. Eradicating abortions does little to enhance that in my opinion.
