Guys, I have tryd it n trust me, wen ur 2gb expires, u go just dey see bbm update n facebuk, twitter even pings wnt deliver fast again bt any form of browsing or download or appworld Won't work oh!. I have used almst 3 subs in d last 2wks (due to my online businex)to know enof of what am telling...so u dat I knw what am saying...bt am stil loving d plenty emails even afta data expires.

Your former plan has not expired, you only exhausted your data size given (1gb or 2gb etc). Simply call customer care on 111 and tell them to deactivate ur former data plan... You will get an SMS that it has been deactivated... Then activate your new plan. QED.

you don't get it. I didn't have an original plan. I was browsing with the #1200 1GB but when that one expired, I tried the unlimited. It didn't work on my pc. I tried activating the daily 10MB as advised earlier on this post but it kept saying that I can't activate it while the UNLIMITED plan is still active. So, am just watching my #1500 go down the drain

when you exhaust the 2GB, you say goodbye to internet until you subscribe again. I've finished mine and it's NOT unlimited.

must one have airtime before browsing with the Airtel 1month subscription on BB? Idon't understand why it says to check network configuration. Is it because I swapped sims?

HOW TO USE AIRTEL UNLIMITED BIS ON PC
1) Load #1,500 card and dial *440*16#
2) Wait for confirmation sms and dial *141*712*0# to check your data cap.
3) Though it comes with 2GB data cap.
4) Insert it on your modem and use normal airtel settings for it. After connecting, if is not browsing direct, you will need to subscribe for 10mb plan which will cost you #100.
5) Simply dial *141*11*1# to subscribe 10mb, after this, insert your sim on modem to surf.
6) It will automatically make your BIS active on modem. Enjoy surfing.

defensive? I'm not defending anything, man. Just don't address people that way. It's not cool.
All in all, the Glo offer is okay, i guess. Just don't know if I'll be able to subscribe to a new one as i already have the #1000 (200mb)bundle working. Poor, i guess. All these networks are just annoying. Even the airtel subscription cannot be accessed cos my line seem to have been barred(for some weird reason known only to their network),though they're working on it.
The big question is: why can't these network providers in Nigeria reduce their prices to the barest minimum?. Why do Nigerians have to pay such exhorbitant sums just to access the internet? It's just terrible.
