xynerise: Uruguay, less chances more goals. Nigeria, more chances less goals
Dey no dey sell experience for market oh. Na wetin we lack
Forlan goal na 3 simple errors.
1, Musa holding to d ball when wing back echiejile has moved forward.
2, Musa taking a slide when all he need do is side by side with d player to disturb his rhythm.
3, Where d Bleep was Ambrose. last time I checked, he wasn't a CB. what was he doing there when the 2 CB re still infront of d attacker. Unless we were playing 3 CB. We'll maybe he tot its Celtic.

After the Spain match I saw our real level and knew we'ed lose and didn't bother watching. Had a good night sleep. Same problem. Lousy attitude. Bonuses and parties are our priorities. Hope they have them plenty before the spanish inquisition.

All I hope is that the FA doesn't panic and send us back to medevial times. The potential and talent is there but can you stop the black man, the Nigerian from self destruction. Attitude. Attitude. Attitude.

this has been our problem and this is what keshi is trying hard to correct, why should we rely on just those two strikers for goals?keshi is trying to build a team that he will have for each position at least 3 solid options or alternatives that is the reason why he keeps bringing in new players .let me tell u a fact ,KESHI ALREADY HAS HIS FIRST 11,but he still needs to have equally good replacements for them, let just wait and watch .we have a coach that know what it means to be at the world cup,he keshi has seen it all before
where are the "solid alternatives" we have in the striking department? If he wants alternatives, he needs to go dig out more prolific strikers.... The likes of Ujah, Akpala and Babatunde can never take us to the promised land!

The kind of things I see on this site make me want to cry, we are talking about goal scoring problems and someone is mentioning Ameobi, I mean Ameobi?? Do you know his goal scoring record? Another one mentioned Anichebe? Someone who has never scored more than six(6) goals in a season?? Ideye as bad as he is; is a better goal scorer than those two put together. People should try and make sense.

keshi should look into the super eagles attack, guys like ideye and musa should not be in the starting line up.nsofor, martins or odewingie should be recalled.these three on their worst days will score half of the chances ideye has been throwing away since nations cup.

Well, like i said, any kind of win with a single goal differential from nig. 2-1, 3-2, 4-3,.....

For the other match, Tahiti might just pose a spoiler for uruguay, might also depend on how early uruguay starts scoring.

If Tahiti decides to attack lesser than they did against spain and nig, the loss might be reduced.

A single goal-differential win for Nigeria takes Nigeria to 6 points, +5 GD. Let's not hope against hope, Uruguay will put more than 5 past Tahiti.

texaco1: honestly speaking i dont see spain beating nigeria if and only these guys decide to play to their best, the worst that will happen will be a draw and who knows football is all about 90mins ,taihiti can decide to spring a surprise against uruguay...

Keep dreaming..Super Eagles(who are more interested in parties) better book their flight on tym as they did against Ivory Coast in ACN cos this tym they cant survive the might of the Spanish superstars...and as for Tahiti, all Uruguay need do is spell Tahiti

You should ask where Nsofor is first.

Nsofor managed 3 goals in Russian league that the Musa you said he should replace scored 12 goals.

Nigerians don't follow the performance of their players, they just analyse football with performance of 10 years ago.

Nigeria's best strikers this last season

1, Kalu Uche, 19 goals in Turkey, 2nd highest goal scorer in Turkish league, 2nd highest scoring African in Europe 2012/2013 (behind CIV's Bony Winfred, who was second only to Messi in Europe with 31 goals in Germany).

2, Ideye, 17 league goals and a couple of goals in UEFA, 2nd highest goal scorer in Ukraine

3, Ahmed Musa, 12 goals in Russian league

4, Imoh Ezekiel, 10+ goals in Belgium

5, IK Uche, 12 goals for Villareal in Spanish Segunda division, driving them back to La Liga

Playing in a tournament such as the World Cup, AFCON or Confed cup is entirely different from League competition. For example, Miroslav Klose isn't amongst the most prolific goal scorers in Europe, but when it come to the World cup, his goals are usually crucial for Germany. In the World cup, there is little margin for error, a player who scored just 10 goals in a season, can emerge as the top scorer in a WC.

Our boys tried.atleast,we nw knw dat defence isnt a much problem anymore.my candid advice to keshi: bring back ,martins, osaze, kalu uche, emenike, moses, pick between obinna nsofor and ike uche, let go babatunde, ujah, ogude and some bench boys dat havnt got ball experience.osaze is on my list bcaus we ar talkin of football and nt personal life.i said ike uche or nsofor becaus they both play one pattern of football,bt i prefer nsofor becaus of ability to fire frm long distance.

To be candid, the display of the nigerians speak volume. Almost close to perfection
Musa is not to blame, players losing possesion of ball in midfield is normal. Its Enyeama that is to blame. He has developed this poor positioning habit. Starting from the Tahitian goal to the two goals scored by the Uruguans.
With this display we just need a goal scorer. We are times better than them, they had their scarce chances to score and we play them like underdogs.
Honestly, Keshi is the best we have. Very intellient a coach and he already knows the team problem of the team cos he too was evidently frustrated with Ideye and the correction will come b4 worldcup.
Keshi needs to play other keepers to rival this sinking ENYEAMA

I agree with you on the bolded. Last night's team has a lot of poentials but was lacking that touch from experienced players. Dunno why but ik uche is always unlucky when it comes to important matches like this. Na soso qualifier and friendly he dey shine.

With respects.......what i am suggesting is simply that we seem to have a team we can work with at the moment. Those guys that played today can defeat any team in the world as far as soccer is concerned. They only need a football psychologist along with a technically sound coach. Keshi is good, but needs to update himself technically. Haruna, Aluko and the likes may be a good option o.........but heck, why is it a difficult task to train these group we have now while the likes of Haruna, Aluko can work hard and be a part of the team regardless of quota system/tribe within the NFA?
my brother shut up,how ar u sure haruna will deliver? Is ideye nt d best stricker in his club? Hw come he flops? Does haruna play beta dan mikel in ur eyes?u ar blind. I believ d only flop in d midfield is ogude.ideye has once showd hw well he can assist wit dat killer pass to mikel.just bring in kalu uche in d midfield,he performs more than d whole nigerian midfielders in abroad.
