We are too funny Nigerians!
Too funny- whenever i want a good laugh i come here!

Is so amazing how we all know what the problems are in Nigeria. And none of us can come up with a solution.
Re: Al-Qaeda Plans To Bomb Nigeria? by kasim155: 6:56pm On May 19, 2008
WE SHOULD ASK OUR SELF WHAT IS THE PROBLEM BETWEEN NIGERIA AND AI-Qaeda, THAT HE IS PLANING TO COME AND BOMB NIGERIA, BUT THEY SHOULD LET US KNOW THE PART THAT HE WANT TO BOMB SO THAT THOSE IN THAT AREA CAN TAKE OFF TO GHANA. AND THEY SHOULD FIND OUT VERY WELL FROM OUR TOP MUSLIM LEADER IN THE COUNTRY.

Re: Al-Qaeda Plans To Bomb Nigeria? by smile4kenn(m): 10:56am On May 21, 2008
The Federation of Ahlus- Sunnah Organisation of Nigeria, an amalgamation of 30 Islamic groups in the country, has warned the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mike Okiro, against massive clampdown on Muslims in his current war against the Al-Qaeda terrorist group.

The warning was contained in the speech read by the Vice-President of FASON, Sheikh Mas’ud Adepoju, on behalf of the President, Alhaji Miftau Mustapha, at a news conference in Ibadan on Tuesday.

Adepoju, who addressed journalists in company with the Vice-President, Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria, Sheikh Abdur Rasheed Hadiyyatullah, and other notable Islamic scholars, described the alleged statement credited to Okiro on Al-Qaeda, as a false alarm.

He explained that Muslims in the country would have ignored Okiro’s statement especially when he had denied it, but expressed deep concern over an allegation that the IG had set up anti Al-Qaeda groups in police units across the country.

Let Osama come but warn him not to target civilian areas if he does it would be too catastrophic for him and his followers, he should focus on state and national assemblies, state houses but he msut leave Lagos state out of the attack - babasola is a performer

kingsley,hv u ever asked urself why u are outside the shores of ur country wandering aimlessly?, hv u ever thought about ur future in a country where no hope lies for u?,do u think at all about the plight of ur suffering folks in nigeria? am sure u dont and if u do, u would raech a conclusion that u are really a complete failure cos u couldnt challenge a system that chases u all around!

my dear AYO, i was hoping you approached the issue with fact. FACT : the muslims have created the most stupid unrests in the history of this country. FACT : the man hours lost everyday that the country has to completely wait for them to go and pray everyday while vital work is not done is completely a tragedy. I developed worlds, the numbers would drive countries to implode. but here, monkey dey work, baboon dey chop ! shame on you partner !

Posted by: kingsley , on Wednesday, May 21, 2008

It is an extablished fact that common sense is not common to everybody, people like Kingsley are short-sighted and need not contribute to a sensitive issues like this. Instead of calling Okiro who raised a false alarm to order, in order not to create unnecessary panic in the country, Mr. Kinsley think Muslim should create a country of their own. Nonsense!. Stop making stupid contributions

If opinions of Nigerians are sampled today for them to choose between Oga Osama to come and bomb our rulers and PHCL to give us light, Nigerians would prefer Osama to come. Why , because they know that the rulers and PHCL would only do that for a season before we are back to darkness. Really, the plans of our rulers for the masses on Nigerians is at variance to the plan of good God. The population is annoying them, so they wanted to reduce us to the size of Ghana.

views of misinformed and myopic minds as displayed here really speaks volume of reasons why peace remains a mirage in international or domestic society. i owe no son of a bitch an apology for exposing the gross misplacement of priorities of the IG and i think we really need to ponder on the issue of terrorism, we need to ask who really is terrorising the world and what is the cause of terrorism.i sympathise with africans and nigerians that leans on the blood sucker in us cos the same injustice

Whether its the northern fanatics or the democractic setup that is running the country. It's been from sharia to al-qeada. If It's Massob, OPC or Egbesu, the federal govt will descend on them with heavy hand. Eyes are watching, this time bomb will explode soonest.

there are really burning security issues in the country. the IG is just seeking means of disraction by unnecessarily creating terrorist tension in the country and subsequently arresting innocent muslims. how many militants has he arrested in the niger delta or day light robbers, this is highly unacceptable and nigerians are never deceived by this deceit.

"Mr. Okiro clearly does not have the character for the position he holds or he is seeking relevance. Or both. In the first place, if indeed there might be such a threat at some point, he should be looking to contain such information until the threat is obvious and with some sort of evidence to back up such an assessment, so as not to cause public panic. Also, what killed it for me is him issuing orders through the media. He should be informing the media that he has already issued such orders and not making a public show issuing them. This is an utter show of unseriousness bordering on incompetence. Combine this with the fact that the public has little or no confidence in the police. Most people would dismiss the 'threat' as soon as they see the story.
In any case, I believe that national security threats would (should) be addressed by the SSS and not the police and any information regarding such should come from them."
I couldn't agree more with the individual that posted this reply. Has the police finished handling domestic issues? They haven't finished putting fuel in their cars to catch robbers but they figure they have the facilities to detect and handle National issues!!! PPPPuuuhhh-lease!!! The police should handle their business and leave the SSS to handle theirs!!! okay, now they've told us Al'Queda wants to bomb Nigeria, then what? What are we supposed to do?Run back to our various villages and hide in caves? Give us full info and not dishing us 'half and half' jist coz they are obviously jobless!!!

FELLOW CITIZENS OF THIS NATION, I know we all have our opinions, but let's not forget that an opinion is an unproven belief. I know whatever God says is the final, which is why I decided to comment on this matter.
First of all, let me say a little about me. I am a born again child of God and have been saved since 1991. I have walked with God and known a little about His ways. I
n the year late PBO died, I was warned twice in a dream to raise serious prayers for her so that it will not happen. Well I thought I did my best, but it was not good enough.
Early this year I had a dream in which I saw the main man in Al-Qaeda. He was beckoning on his subjects in four different locations and it was a really serious mood. I inquired about the dream from the Lord and He told me to organize people to pray against terrorism. I have only done that partially but I have plans to SERIOUSLY intensify efforts.
From the little I've said, I hope you will join in any way you know, to pray for our Father Land. That bombing will happen if we do not ask God to help us. OH FATHER, HELP NIGERIA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Al-quaeda is really unto Nigeria. PLEASE PRAY.

HOW CAN THE I.G VERIFY THE AUTHENTICITY OF SUCH INFO, I JUST HOPE THIS IS NOT A LEAD THAT MAY PROPEL THE AL-QAEDA NETWORK TO BE LOOKING TOWARDS NIGERIA AS A VERY LIABLE PLACE TO EXHIBIT HER WORLD TERRORISM. Al-queada, to bomb Nigeria? is it in the Niger Delta or Aso Villa and where are they targeting. Haba! Okiro, please tell Nigerian about the security situations in the Niger Delta and what your men are doing to stop the criminal activities going on there.
I don't really know what Nigeria did to Al-quada, that make us a target of attack. Are they attacking poverty, corruption, hypocritical religion or non performing sector of the economy? , what is even there for them to attack?
Security reports? from what source CIA, CID, SSS, we pray God to deliver us from the terrorist who bomb our hospitals, ruined the education sector, disconnect electric power from us, rigged elections and bombard us daily with distractive panels and false information.

Very well said.

Nonsense! Waste of bomb and money! You think it is just a N1 affair to make bomb? They will save it for more useful bombings while they can make you guys blog your hearts away and give the Okiro idiots dem something to talk about.

BTW, if they wan waste their time and money, we would make it more worthwhile instead of just wasting the bomb. Yaradua's convoy, Goodluck, Obasanjo, IBB, Annenih, All past ministers, all past presidents, in fact everyone that has come remotely close to Federal or State governance should be bombed into extinction. It is a deformation of character for anyone to bring the Al-Qaeda's reputation so low, what is there to bomb in Nigeria, it will be a waste of bomb, time, money and energy to do it. The hunger, poverty and sickness is enough bomb to last nigeria a lifetime. The only people that are not bombed in Nigeria are the big names like, Baba-gi, Obasan, Ati, AlamBlow and their cronies.

Well, my opinion on this issue is that all these things of AL-queda bombing Nigeria is fake. Usually when Osama sends a message it is usually aired on Television so why dint we see any of these videos. Am sure the IP wants to say that Osama himself called him on his cell phone and told him. Nigeria has not done anything that deserves them to be bomb. For pits sake we are still a developing country. Why didn't they say they want to bomb China or Germany or some other first world country, what will they gain from it, absolutely nothing. Its just a plot so that Nigerians can say the Police force have done something good after years of total nonsense they call their job. Well God help us.
