1. Rename the downloaded
rom to it's proper update
name:
(Please note, the
filenames MUST be all
uppercase except for the
extension, and if file
extensions are hidden, do
not include ".zip" :

2. Place the zip file in the root
of your sdcard.
3. Reboot your phone into
bootloader by typing the
following command:
Code:by pressing the down volume key and power key together
4. After your phone has
entered bootloader, press
the power button. It will
then scan for the associated
rom file and ask you to
update by pressing a key.
5. Press the key it requests to
perform the update.
DO NOT INTERRUPT THIS
PROCESS.
Your phone will reboot
once or twice - this is
completely normal.
This process will take
roughly 5-10 minutes so
make sure your phone is
charging
6. Once the process is
finished, it will ask you to
reboot by pressing a key.
Press the associated key
and it will reboot and you would be bck to froyo 2.2.1... Now u can root.
N/T when u downgrade all ur files would be lost.

After u hav downgraded successfully. Nw its time 4rooting...
1) go to www.4share.com and search for " z4root ZTE blade" download it
2)open the z4root at the down u would she permanent root click on it,it would take 10min or 15min the u can put out ur ba3 and reboot ur fone
3) u would notice a new app installed "superuser" if u c dat app then knw ur gud 2go
4) go to the android market and install root checker.. After installin Open ur root checker .. Wow! U would c rooted succesfuly....

B4 i post on how to install slimbean 4.2.2 pls downgrade and root 1st...
N/T this is the same steps i took to root mine,take ur time reading this cos i would be held responsible 4a bricked phone

AFTER DOWNLOADING D ROM AND GAPPS, PUT THEM AT THE ROOT OF UR MCARD (IT SHOULD NOT BE IN ANY FOLDER).

NOW OPEN ROM MANAGER CLICK ON REBOOT TO RECOVERY MODE.UR FONE WILL AUTOMATICALLY SWITCH OFF AND BOOT IN TO

bro u cnt upgrade ur ram.. Bt u can expand ur ram... I use a 32gb mcard and i expanded my ram to 2.0gb..

u didn't go the right procedure.......... Boot into recovery, clear cache, clear Dalviin cache, clear data or factory reset before you flash your new rom..... Minus that you phone won't boot to home screen
