The 6x6 Africa by a South African company, I read they were contracted by an unspecified West African government to provide infantry logistics configuration vehicles.

I don't get what they're trying to do with this aircraft.
Denel has dozens of projects that are stalled at 95% done that cannot make it to market without a international partner to finish development and industrialization.
But they think they have the cash to fully fund a commercial aircraft of this size in an overcrowded market ?
I suspect this was cooked up so some Cadres can have another black hole to pilfer money through at Denel.

I've tried to follow this project and while IDK all the info, imo it looks strongly like a vanity project. Licence building civvy regional turbo aircraft makes more sense than the SARA.

Chinese military industry and innovation are hudge in all fields , incomparable with this little simple algerian modifications on this rifle . wink

I think they stopped using the type 56 from 1973 and have developped many new assault rifle since . QBZ-03 , type91, QBZ-95 ect...
