They have beat their own Igirigi prototype record.
grin grin grin I literally thought it was a parade vehicle.... You know for generals to stand on the back.

Anyway I think your the current land cruisers will suffice for now, until these bad boys comes in to service!!

Fuel containers at the front...... undecided

The probability of been hit at the front/sides is high and exploding right into the engine and occupants of the vehicle .
The rear is much saver, incase of explosion.

Yeah, they are very good looking vehicles. The Nigerian army deploys the normal and military type pick-ups in large numbers.

The IPV is a light recon/attack vehicle that allows troops to engage elements in rapid time with maximum firepower.

It's armament includes a 12.7mm HMG and a 7.62mm GPMG.

An on-road top speed of 200km/h means that Nigerian soldiers can respond to threats quickly.

Air transportable and can be hauled by an MI-17, this vehicle can be deployed in base protection, convoy/VIP protection, border patrol and fir support roles.

This IPV is one bad boy you don't want to mess with.

Capacity Development: Nigerian Air Force officers and airmen/airwomen undergoing Basic Regiment (Regt) Course conducted a training tour to the Army School of Artillery Kachia, where they mounted and fired a complete Battery of Artillery Guns. ‪The exercise is a prerequisite for completing their training and becoming bonafide NAF Regt personnel. Robust and result-oriented training, under the leadership of the current Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, is building the capacity of the NAF Regt for enhanced professional performance to bridge the gap between force projection and force protection.

Diesel won't explode when hit by bullets unlike petrol. I have identified two other places the diesel cans can be kept so it's a simple matter of choice.
