Warfare takes many many means! When the MSM splashes ' HIV AIDS conspiracy theory,' crazies like myself and assorted idlers have been saying for years you know poo done changed!? A South Africa-based mercenary group has been accused by one of its former members of trying to intentionally spread Aids in southern Africa in the 1980s and 1990s.https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/jan/27/south-african-intelligence-officers-spread-aids-black-communities The implications of this piece are very very interesting-is the MSM no longer under Global Elite control? Why is it being revealed now? Non MSM players have said the same for years. What else, formerly secret will be revealed-is this revelation the end of secrecy itself? Guys, this is potentially groundbreaking!! Saffas,jln115,patches689,ssaengine,andrewza,frumentius,61mech and anyone I've missed do you know Putfontein where the 'doctor' had a clinic?

jln115: Pardon my tardiness, been busy with checking out, checking in with the Reserves etc. 1) Regardless of whether matriculant or graduate, rightly, all are equal at MSDS/basics (the instructors are NCOs and naturally give graduates i.e. future officers, a hard time); 2) Broadly across Army, Air Force, Navy and Health Services, MSDS encompasses: - In the first year of MSDS: --- Basic military training and functional training; --- Service-specific training; --- Participation in practical military exercises; --- Combat-ready training exercises; --- Selection of junior leaders (matriculants with promise who pass the Selection are put on the NCO stream; graduates on Officer stream). - In the second year of MSDS expect: --- To undergo young officers formative training; --- Junior leaders (officers) will receive leader group service training; --- A selection process for officers to study at the Military Academy; --- A focus on the utilisation and deployment of MSDS troops. 3) After 2 years of MSDS, either a contract on the regulars, or the Reserve Force. For the purposes of this discussion, university graduates who come through the above attain the rank of LT. 2 Likes |

frumentius:I wondered how could a graduate after all military training start his career as a private as said by @jiln. It's the Same thing all over the world but different selection process. Thanks for the explanation. 2 Likes |

Geronimoe: jln is correct. During MSDS everyone is equal in being "absolutely less than nothing", as the instructors say. University graduates are commissioned as LTs only after they successfully complete MSDS. |
Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by Geronimoe: 12:59pm On Feb 03, 2019 |
frumentius:There is a reason why I quoted you and your last words in bold. At a point in time on this same topic I had to ask if you guys have an officer training school. If I'm not wrong, my deduction from what you wrote is that MSDS is not the end school for officer training, it's just to learn the rudimentary of military life and from there the best are selected for officer training depending on grade and whatever else. Correct? My question is how can you start your military career as a private as a university graduate? |
Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by Nobody: 7:00pm On Feb 03, 2019 |
Geronimoe:Because that's how it works......Graduates don't just walk in to top positions at multi million $ businesses without any experience.....same thing with the military, and just as in the business world the higher you are qualified(and component) the faster you are promoted!! The question you actually want to ask is why would a university graduate want to join the military.....and the answer is pretty simple, they want to, and are willing to go through basic as a private knowing that their degree will be advantageous for future promotions. 1 Like |

jln115: I suspect crossed lines here: We are looking at a military career starting when someone shows up for Basics/MSDS - as a private. I suspect Geronimoe sees the start of a military career immediately post-basics. |
Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by Nobody: 7:50pm On Feb 03, 2019 |
frumentius:Nope, no lines crossed, if you look back at his previous posts you would see he meant a military career as in immediately when joining. |
Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by Nobody: 8:16pm On Feb 03, 2019 |
jln115: The man asked if we had "an officer training school"/military academy. Obviously there's a lot he doesn't know, so let's ask the man direct questions so our answers properly inform. Geronimoe, what do you mean by start of military career? Do you mean when someone reports for Basics? Or do you mean when they're finished with Basics? |

jln115:Frumentius was able to understand where I was coming from. Me was referring to a career as being done with basics, that's when you are actually a soldier, you passed through all the processes successfully. I couldn't understand it that as a university graduate, you will have to progress through the ranks to attain a general(which is almost impossible) until frumentius explained the complete process. I initially thought it was as being done here : the officer Corp is mostly from NDA where you graduate as a Lt, and enlisted from Nigerian army depot where some of them graduate as PRIVATES. You said everybody starts as private including university graduates but you didn't include the other processes described by frumentius. |
