charlesemeka85: over the years una don hype nwakali sotey the likes of the players listed below emerged from no where and doing far better than the revered midfield orchestrator according to your likes
Aribo from league one football to the Scottish league and on the verge of earning a move to the epl in the summer
Onyeka from being loaned to danish 2nd tier to claiming a place at the heart of his parent team’s midfield to earn in a surprise move to the epl
Alhassan from youth team competitions in Sweden to earning a contract at Gothenburg and after few season is doing well in the colors of high flying Belgian side royal antwep
Amoo from the Swedish league to one of Scandinavians traditional clubs Copenhagen
Bassey from the youth teams of leicester to one of Britain’s traditional teams Glasgow rangers and currently tipped for a move to the epl
Zaidu from the dust of Kevin state to Portuguese 2nd tier and now with Portugal’s most successful club fc porto
Bonke from the Scandinavians to a ligue 1 club
Onyedika from been a loanee to the danish 2nd tier to a main stay in one of Denmark’s top clubs
Moffi from an obscure league to Belgium and now with a ligue 1 team
This is just a few while the one much have been expected of for the past 7 seasons is still globetrotting in europe with nothing to write home about All that matters is that he is impressive on Nigeria shirt. We all saw the game that Ndidi, nwakali, and onyeka played together and saw his impact. 3 clear cut chances created in the first half. Our Set piece became much usuful. I’m not saying that he should be a starter but until you provide an adequate replacement in his position, he is a good squad player. I will rather include than select an imbalanced team. |

You are attempting to compare darkness with daylight.
Ejuke has a lot to learn and Nwakali after 7 years in Europe has learned nothing.
Eze is being priced at £45 million and I can't even begin to imagine the value of Olise. Both are consistent outstanding performers at the highest level.
And you are making a comparison with Nwakali, Dude you are lost. Uncle free the Bobo na shey ein fvck your wife |

They want to make money off Nwakali and Nwakali feels he sacrificed enough with a pay cut. The problem is Nwakali does not want to sign a new deal. Is that enough reason to banish him entirely from the team? Is that legal? We have to learn how to support our own in their time of needs because these Europeans DGAF. NFF has to intervene |

This nwakali situation is sad because he returned late from the afcon, the club decided to ban him entirely from the senior team. I heard that he was sick and also presented a doctors note, yet, his club turned closed eyes. I believe that, his punishment is too harsh. Suspend him without pay for few games, but to ban him entirely of the senior team |

Kog45: Doctor, and Calvin Bassey is the solution?
In the just concluded Afcon, our defense lines were superb, losing to Tunisia had made a lot to talk shit about the team.
I don't mind see Bassey as our LB competing with Sanusi and Collins.....my question do we really need a world class CB before we perform as a team?NO and fine we don't even have one, left for the coach to bring the best out on the available ones,a team with Semi,Awaziem,Omeruo,Ekong and Balogun should not be disturbed and our outing at last Afcon testified that we have a good defence line.
I watched Bassey with keen interest recently and I would say a very promising young guy with full potential as LB but would be a great asset as SE squad member cos he can also do it as CB,meaning Collins out and one CB shoukd be dropped to give way for additional midfielder. We have enough players at RB, and LB for now. But, we’re lacking adequate cb that are pacy and comfortable on the ball |

drDoom3: Why not now? If he proves to be better than what we have, it will be for the good of the team. Carrying the Oyibo wall to the world cup is a disaster waiting to happen, Omeruo is no better. The earlier we organize our defensive issues, the better for us. I don’t want him starting at such a crucial game vs Ghana that’s why I said after the Ghana game. Immediately after the Ghana game, we can go ahead |

After the Ghana game, I wil like to see Calvin bassey as a LCB for eagles. Young, fast, comfortable in the ball, we can invest our time into him as a CB |

Fruitless move. Eguavoen and Amunike will fall my hand if they call these guys after we have qualified. Their hearts are not with the team. It is better they spend time scouting other leagues than looking into these red carpet-seeking people. I highly doubt if Olise is a better player than Chidera ejuke |

I have always been hard in foreign borns. I don't give a f.ock about them. If we get Olise, he should take Nachos place in the first team.
Who nor like make he go jump for pit toilet.
Low mentality sentimental emotionally attached fools. Who should bench him? If dem born you well, list 1 backwater league player. The guy is a good replacement striker for now |

Joebie: I have seen Sadiq in the national team. And my verdict is he is our #2 man! Osimhen is still the man. All the things Victor is being criticised for lately is just as a result of his recent games. Victor is still far from his full potential yet. And you know what that means. If you were next to me, I would had sounded you a dirty slap for saying such |

drDoom3: The irony is that he was better at all those when he was in Lille. Ligue 1 is a very physical league, so having muscle and pace alone does not suffice. He had to learn finishing, positioning, and link up to succeed at Lille. Victor rarely missed one-on-ones at Lille, he was very efficient in his shooting especially at the beginning of the season.
Apparently, Serie A is not as physical, coincidentally, Victor was also adding muscle. It seems he started overrelying on physical dominance to oust opponents and his development in other areas regressed to an extent. For games against smaller clubs where you don't need to be prime Ronaldo technically to succeed, he was performing as expected. However, against bigger teams where strength is not enough and things like positioning and tactical awareness come into play, he seems to struggle. I would argue he should probably have stayed one more season at Lille to hone his tactical abilities before making the big money move. You can’t claim that he was better at those qualities when it was at a farmers league. The more quality league that a player perform, shows his weakness or pros more clearer. This is why I am an advocate of super eagles players, playing at a world class league in order to access their real value |

When I analyze players, I’m judging based on their overall abilities and not dribbling. Moses dribbles outstandingly but his end product isn’t exceptional that’s why I prefer Dennis and lookman for now |

Subzero47: You saw when he came in what did he play? the thing is that Iheanacho is massively overrated in this thread, a player that makes a coach tinker with his formation and remove bodies from midfield to accommodate him is not worth it if he's not Messi or Ronaldo He is a clinical goal scorer and chances creator. Just play him as a false 9 and create chances, he will score. |

codemaniacs: that's the point...
Osimhen and Dennis as forwards because Osimhen is not a Dennis kind of player from what I watched against FC Barcelona that likes to drop to midfield and sometimes defense in order to get the ball forward..
then Lookman on the LW and Simon on the right wing.
with Ndidi and Onyeka in DM. In modern day football, 424 isn’t a balanced formation. I will go with Dennis and osimehn as my forwards and play one of lookman or Simon on the wings. I’m not compromising my 3 man midfield for any player. |

Someone who helped you last season when vardy was misfiring ,nacho scored about 19 goals last season but suddenly you purchased daka to bench him .
Na iheanacho I blame and not Rodgers Nacho should be blamed. He is the one smiling unnecessary and playing the class clown of the team instead of guaranteeing first team appearance before signing a new contract |

There are at least 25 players of Nigerian origin available and better than him in the English league.
If you add Europe you will talking about 100.
There is a reason why he is anonymous in the Segundo division, very simple poor quality. No, I disagree. He was just one of our best midfielders at the last anc that we all watched together. The dude had 3 good games |

Karlovych: Amoo is showing progress from Hammarby to Copenhagen while Nwakali's career graph has been on a downward trajectory, say something else my friend. They do no play at the same formation. Amoo is a RW or SS at best while nwakali is a CM, or CAM. In Amoo position, we have so many options while at nwakali position, our option is few that’s why our team needs Nwakali more than Amoo for now |

Ndidi cannot do rodri work ,that one no Dey use power play ball ,man city Barca type of player,Ndidi is class and a different type of player from rodri No way is ndidi more technically gifted than iwobi. PurpleHouse: Trickery Taaaaaah! Meshonu dia
You mean a player that strolls over the pitch?
Yes he scores and he's highly good with his accuracy. But my point is that we need our midfield stockpiled with creativity to compliment our wingers, so Nacho needs to be sacrificed for that to happen.
And if Egu stil goes on using Nacho thereby weakening our midfield, it means he's learned nothing. He is a striker or support striker at best and has no reason playing midfield or attacking midfielder |
