The best Nigerian should be given opportunity in the national team, irrespective of age.

Young does not automatically equate to quality and neither does longevity.
Young Nigerians should be given chances but that chances has to be earned. There’s no point given young Nigerians chances when it isn’t earned and super eagles shouldn’t be a training ground or rehabilitative center for anyone. It’s people like you that made maduka okoye our goal keeper unmerited. Maduka is using Nigeria to gain more experience when it should be the other way around. For me, young Nigerians should prove their self at the u20, u23 then gradually progress to the super eagles except the case of an “Exceptional Generational talent” those are the ones that can walk into SE 11 at a young age. It’s just like uneducated Nigerians that are requesting for local league players to be given a chance at the SE when they haven’t conquered domestic leagues I.e NPL, Chan, Confederations cup, or Caf champions league. Super eagles should be the creme dela creme of Nigerian football and only the absolute Best should be invited if we’re aspiring to become Winners

Eguavoen should simply train his wingers to practice accurate crosses incase ghana decide to pack the bus. Imagine chukwueze, simon or lookman delivering sweet crosses to osimehn or Dennis. I believe that’s one of the antidote to “packing the bus”

Osimehn only scored 19 goals in Belgium league for a French club to sign him. Onuachu has scored triple that amount and he hasn’t upgraded to a bigger club. My point is that having a Good agent is equally as valuable as being a talented player because the right agent can elevate one career trajectory. I.e chuppo moting

At the expense of who? When I vent hard on people here, they will act like I’m childish when they’re the one suggesting asinine suggestions. You want to drop one of our big 3 players like Chukwueze, dennis, lookman, kalu or our big 5 wingers Simon for an inexperienced backwater league player “amoo”? Amoo looks like a talented youngster, but he has to excel tremendously at that backwater league or perform decent at a big 3, 5 in order to replace the incumbent ones. I didn’t even include Ejuke, nwakaeme, onyekuru

You're a comedian. Egu won a bronze medal on his first attempt too. I know you don't like the guy(I'm not a big fan tbh) but please try to be objective and not yan opaks!
First attempt in 2016 not 2022 Ewu hausa. No one is doubting that egu did a fantastic job 16 years ago, we’re referring to the atrocious result that occurred in 2022 (our worst in 40 years) considering that idiots like you were critical of Rohr 3rd place, it’s quite ignorant how you’re mute at a 15th place result. I just dey wait until March. If result doesn’t go our way, you guys go hear am for here

Only a madman will drop our best player in Epl this season. I expect another imbalanced squad again. 10 Defenders 3 Midfilders and 11 forwards loading. To defeat SE, just pack your midfield and allow us to attack from the wing and hope for a fortuitous goal Omo game don finish. Na Wetin CAR and Tunisia do to us

False equivalence. Has Eguavoen handled the team for 3 years?
On rohr first attempt he qualified us for the ANC 3rd place and qualified us for the World Cup while on egu first attempt we got our worst ANC result in 40 years and imbeciles like you are still talking. Let’s not qualify for the World Cup is when you guys will see my anger. The team is eguavoen inherited was much better than what Rohr inherited in 2016

If you bothered to read my previous posts, you will understand the point. Let me summarize.

I learnt the importance of tactics and position when it concerns players success from Arsene Wenger who brought a flop Henry and he became a success. One of the best in football history.

Because of that, even though Forlan was having a bad time in Manchester United, I believed with the right role and run of games he will flourish.

Pellegrini gave him that and he shined bright.

That is why when Iheanacho was having a bad time with Leicester City, I said Shakespeare's tactics was the problem. Nacho excelled with a change of tactics.

Just like my criticism of Rohr's tactics that he was hampering the players and Eguavoen's tactics made the players perform better.

Finito.
The same Rohr that all of you slander performed 3x better than Eguavoen and you people still do not give him credit

time and chance. There was a time we had a plethora of midfielders and defenders..no striker. Patience....it will happen.
Well since okocha retired, we have been lacking solid midfielders. Almost 16 years later and coaches hasn’t prioritized the midfield

Honestly, I have no idea why a country can be producing quality strikers on a weekly basis but cannot produce enough Attacking or center Midfielders. The midfield position is the engine of a team and without a solid midfield, your team will remain imbalanced. For now, we only have Ndidi, aribo, etebo, frank, Nwakali and iwobi at our disposal

You must be mad. You don’t consider that sadiq missed chance vs Tunisia as sitter? It is chances like those, that differentiate a winning team vs Losing team. He was supposed to score that goal. Sadiq is a player for the future but as for now, he is in the lower pecking order among our strikers

The reality is he was very lucky to get the contract in the first place.

Huesca signed a player on speculative hype and took a gamble on a player who had done nothing of substances in 4 years.

Theo offered him what they felt he was worth , after struggling to get into Porto B team. He accepted because he was not going to get anything else.

His contract is ending in June , they are not going to renew it. and if the misbehaviour continues they will cancel it.

He has been in the Segundo division for two seasons and there is nothing to report of substance. So to get a club in Segundo division will not be a routine.

He may have too look lower, the gamble of using the NFF to booster a fledgling careers hasn't really worked it seems.

Sadiq is well positioned to be in the SE squad if we qualify
for the WC. Almeria will likely be promoted to Laliga next
season , Onuachu seems stuck in Belgium , Denise will likely
be relagated to the championship and Nacho will still be
backing up Vardy. Osihmen, Sadiq and Awoniyi will be to
the mundial if they maintain form.

Aribo is a hole player, he runs at the box to score goals and create assist, Nwakali is an orchestrator (DLP), Etebo is a box to box midfielder
In our Midfield, ndidi and Aribo position is secured and are undroppable on their day. It is the 3rd midfield position that’s available to grab. Anyone from the likes of nwakali, etebo, iwobi and onyeka can grab it

Iwobi was monstrous today. I couldn't believe this is the same Iwobi I watched with my own eyes playing the creative role to perfection..

We have good players honestly. Zaidu played yesterday against Sporting Lisbon in the Portuguese classico and he was awesome. He hit the post with a thunderous volley..

Chukwueze lined up RM defenders like he's selling ice cream but couldn't break down Tunisia... Football is a funny game.
We’re just one more stage away from being at literally the best clubs in the world I.e Chelsea, Man city Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid, psg, BM, juventus. Right now, our best players are playing at the equivalent of a Round of 16 World Cup and QF at best level

3 DMs? Is Frank a DM at Brentford? Is Aribo a DM?

Like it or not, our best midfield trio currently is Ndidi - Onyeka - Aribo, each playing slightly ahead of the previous. We can’t start with such a midfield and get overrun in the center, and all three offer decent creativity, football intelligence, and excellent work rate.
There’s no one questioning Aribo and ndidi position on SE midfield. It is the last position that is up to grab and because there isn’t anyone else like nwakali makes be gravitate towards nwakali. But, against Ghana, we need all our Agidi/gragra players I.e etebo, frank

Second time you are saying this. Which match did Nwakali create 3 goalscoring chances? I guess you are talking about the GB match.

As I recall It was one chance he created. The one Sadiq missed. Please state the other two. Let's talk facts not opinions or imaginations
He created one for sadiq (clear cut) another corner kick clear cut to (iheanacho) and another crossing clear cut. If those 3 chances was into the hands of lewandoski, it’s 3 goals for us. The issue with nwakali is that we don’t have another like for like player at SE and we don’t have the luxury of omitting players with his skill set. Some people are mentioning onyedika, Frank d tank etc just remember that selecting 3 dm in a game will just devoid your midfield of any creativity

He wasn’t as poor as some of you guys are saying. Even so, his replacement must be superior to him or the same level not inferior. Let amoo prove himself at the big 3 leagues before he can think of benching a big 3 player. I think “YouTube” deceives some of you cabu cabu analyst

I dare Eguavoen to start Nwakali against Ghana and see what happens. Anyone who understands football would have noticed Nwakali's game. Nobody is saying he is not skilful. It's the work off the ball and the overall energy that is missing from his game. Let Eguavoen start him against Ghana, so we can all just close this matter once and for all.

It's funny Eguavoen is starting Nwakali ahead of Onyeka.

Onyeka so bad yet he is playing in the epl week in week out.

Nwakali is so good, he is guarding his skills on the bench of a second tier mid table team in Spain..

Nwakali is average….in fact he is worse than average….

He played two games and was average at best….(that’s me being kind)..
He wasn’t average in the game that he created 3 clear cut chances in the first half. Even if he was average, so was his co-midfielders. It’s not like all our players are world beaters

EPL is not the best league in the world.... it is the european league with the highest rating in Europe... just because someone plays there does not make them better than other players... You can't compare the opportunities someone who was born in England will get in England compared to people born outside England..

If Lookman was better than Simon, Leeds will be after him... samuel kalu just joined Watford does that make him better than simon, onyekuru, olayinka, ejukehuh
In the past 2 years and presently, Epl isn’t just one of the best leagues in the world, it is the BEST league in the world. You forgot the part that I said “inform” if any of the players you listed can perform at the big 3, they will take precedence over backwater league players. Quality over Quantity. There’s a reason why I didn’t rank lookman ahead of dennis on current form

I am trying to highlight the implications on expectations with a high transfer fee. This is very normal in football.

You are being speculative, do you know injury is part of football. If you start getting injury every season they will tag you injury prone too. That will bring your value in down too.

I think he would have probably got 15 goals or more , but it's still speculative.
Don’t mind them bro. It was the same people that were trivializing “Tammy Abraham” debut 15 league goals in the Epl that is here giving excuses for Big 0. Personally, I believe that osimehn football transcends his goals. He puts in effort, high press Defenders and is very hardworking. He reminds me of a “young drogba” But, he needs to start scoring at important games like drogba did at Chelsea. Personally, I prefer a striker to score 15 important big games/match winners vs scoring 40 goals against small teams. One thing for sure, osimehn, ndidi and Dennis are our closest to a world class player
