zicky: Dennis is an average player, the way he's hyped here as the best thing to happen to the SE as if he has been brilliant for at least 3 seasons. There is nothing Dennis is doing in the EPL that the likes of Ighalo, iheanacho, Osaze and yakubu have not done. If Dennis is an average player, it means that all super eagles player are average because Dennis has been our best player this season |

I don't even want to mention Awoniyi and Sadiq because they only profited from the absence of Osimhen, Onuachu and Dennis Don’t disrespect Dennis that way because this season, he has been our best all round player |

I'm not afraid of losing because this is a two legged game. Any mistake will be corrected in the next game. Besides we're playing at home. This is almost the lowest point of Ghana football in their history and if we cannot qualify against such demotivated team, our coach and players must be flogged |

Windscribe: Emmanuel Dennis has been exceptional this season, he has a hand in 52% of goals Watford scored this season, that's amazing.
And also we can't ignore the fact that man came to the epl after bad ordeal with club brugge and Cologne.
But I would rate Taiwo Awoniyi above him. Taiwo doesn’t even have any league assist this season while Dennis has 9 goals and 5 assist. Based on this season performance, dennis wins |

Only one moniker acknowledged this goal on this thread yesterday.
Imagine if it was their flop in Napoli, we would've have seen at least 40 monikers singing the praises of this naples flop, some go even comment with their alternative monikers. Nah that time we go dey see Ojuelegba Peter Drury. I think Dennis is so far this season. You have to compare the league and individual overall performance. |

TheLoneCitizen: Chukwueze completed 9 dribbles today. How many end product? I’m tired of our wingers because dribbles without end product is nonsense and it’s time that our coaches focus on our productive Forwards and forget that wing nonsense. We can attack with the full backs |

Jonathan David has scored 13 league goals this season.
While Osimhen has scored just 7.
Big difference. Quality precede quantity sha because scoring at the farmers league is much difficult than scoring at Seria. Nonetheless, it’s unprofessional to laugh at other people downfall if you have someone in similar predicament |

COOL10: I've said it here before that there are different kinds of Centre Forwards. There are different kinds of Strikers. Gone are the days, you would have a 6ft 5 behemoth waiting in the box and bullying all the defenders. Football has evolved beyond that.
I'd pick a 5 ft 7 Jermain Defoe over a 6ft 1 Diego Costa any day any time. But that's my personal preference.
We need to change with the times else we'll be left behind. In their mind, if you don’t know how to press or hold the ball, you’re not a striker because whoever started the insinuation that iheanacho with his exquisite clinical finishing ability is not a striker is a football novice. It’s just imbalanced that we have many available strikers and few midfielders |

semid4lyfe: Most times, he fails to control the ball with that one touch and is quickly crowded out or dispossessed.
Also his pressing, closing space, work rate, ball playing ability, link/hold-up play, speed, physicality & strength etc leaves much to be desired.
His strengths - shooting & clinical finishing.
He's presents a conundrum of sort as he's not the best for the role of an attacking midfielder, support striker or a 9.
Good enough to be a squad player and making substitute appearances but shouldn't be starting games for the Super Eagles as his minuses outweighs what he brings to the team. I believe that, because his best quality is finishing, he will make a good top 9 and consequently, if chances are created, he will score. Eguavoen should never play this man anywhere in the midfield because he isn’t a midfielder |

drDoom3: Salah cannot lead a line, despite his strength, speed, and excellent finishing. Have you ever asked why?
Mertens who is much smaller led Napoli's attack for years. Have you also ever asked why?
Iheanacho is getting better though, especially with his hold-up play and pressing. What you should say is that his pressing and hold up play isn’t the best for a 9 but that doesn’t disqualify him from playing that position because he is a clinical finisher. Drogba pressing wasn’t the best but he is still regarded as Chelsea Goat |

Bottom corner, top corner, left, right, he just needs one touch to control and before you know it the ball is in the back of the net. He is our most clinical striker and has no business playing in the midfield |

[quote author=Icon79 post=110837171]Nope. I totally disagree. Emmanuel Dennis is a center forward. His direct competition in Super Eagles are: Victor Osihmen Odion Ighalo Kelechi Iheanacho Plus the likes of Onuachu, Umar, Awoniyi, etc
He’s definitely not in competition with Moses Simon or Samuel Chukwueze.
He is a forward/wing forward and can play all 3 positions upfront |
