i am a size 10 top and 12 below. i will be be going to nigeria this year and i heard its all slim girls reigning there that i have to slim down to an 8 and 10 or 8 and 8 if possible is this true?

I was in Naija earlier this month and i didn't get that impression, THICH WITH IT IS HOW WE LIKE IT IN NAIJA!! (SIZE 12 AND UP).

Girl, i went to naija in dec and there is no big deal about size, you don't have to conform to the sizes of others. Just go, have fun no matter what size you are. Make sure you dress to kill and you are okay

As long as you have shape, you are okay. It's all about the shape. I see fat girls all the time with no shape and i see those that are actually shapey and those are the ones that get all kinds of attention.

I don't think nigerians back home are really into thin girls. Personally, when i was at home, i really felt bad for myself, everyone called me lepa, pako, igi, all sort of names, i was really uncomfortable. It was until i came here that i started to really feel good about myself. Now i can walk head high on the streets etc coz everyone says i;m hot. Ok enough of my indirect horn blowing and straight to the conclusion, nigerian men like fat women, coz they believe they are healthier.
