Ola Johnson: Your disposition always put to question your moniker, Since 9gerian. How would you describe a government that has not been able to implement an agreement it reached with ASUU since 2009? Four years, for crying out loud. I know you would want to say the agreement was made by Umaru Yar'Adu; don't forget Goodluck Jonathan was part of that government. Besides, whether or not he was, government is a continuum.
Read the OP again. Some parts of the agreement has been implemented 100% while certain parts are simply un-implementable. For example how can the govt spend as much as N400billion annually (no exaggeration) only on the universities alone (out of a total of about N4trillion NATIONAL budget)? How possible is that? What funds will be used for basic education, roads, power, electricity, health, salaries of other civil servants, etc? It seems that part of the agreement was signed when Yar Adua was in coma.

What a disgrace, so the excuse for this governments incompetence is the opposition. How convinent. A former university lecturer turn president cannot negociate with his fellow lecturers, then how can he handle the nation? And he is also playing dumb to a agreement signed in an administration where he was second-in-command...it's mind shattering.

The government shoudn't have entered any agreement, or parts of it, with ASUU if it knows they're not implementable. It's a shame you're saying the 400 billion naira, though I've not confirmed, demanded by ASUU is too much. Do you know the over head cost of the three arms of government, apart from stolen funds, is more than ASUU's demand?

Read my post again. The NATIONAL federal budget for 160million Nigerians is only about N4trillion. Out of this amount, ASUU alone is demanding N400billion. How does that make sense?

It appears GEJ and his wife are the only things that make sense to you.

Is it not 400billion over 4 years? Again it excludes tetfund, education tax which are bound by law for specific purposes. Government should stop playing politics with the welfare of Nigerians.
