A wannabe aviator, Mr. Kehinde Durojaiye Obasanjo, built a locally made engine in a contraption that runs on road and sea.

SaharaTV found him operating the contraption in Ikeja to attract minor donors who collected his Compact Disk in which he said he recorded its operation on water.

Mr. Obasanjo said he designed it to operate on three mediums: ground, water and air, but has only achieved two due to financial constraints. But for now, the invention can only run on ground and water.

He said he had contacted State Governments of Lagos and Ogun to find support, but he only got their promise since beginning of 2013.

Saw this online yesterday. But truly it's hilarious. Since it's not locally made crude oil generating machine or undetectable personal public fund siphoning machine, no government in Nigeria cares about nobody using his expertise in science and technology. In fact, nothing like science and technology in Nigeria anymore.

This would equal to wasted effort in the run long..... I'm absolutely sure of that.

i saw somethin like dis in my area sum months ago(ikotun egbe),there was a notice on d car for assitance from d public to help develop it but it wasnt workin sha.

I saw this on lagos road some months back, doesn't look too safe but i think with good funding they'll make something better out of it. Think he called it the 'Amphibian Jet' or something close.

Now, this is a GOOD idea and may actually be manufacturable in the long-run seeing there is no company that makes a vehicle that moved on land, air and water! This is where developed countries like USA, Russia of those days, etc do great by having this type of people in their scientific development program. They would put aggressive engineers and scientists with firm deadlines for completion of milestones! This is indeed very good, not a mock-up prototype but something drivable and demonstrable! Imagine, this could be for leisure, especially as the days of flying cars approaches. This will also be a next generation vehicle for military warfare! In the past, war planes that ran out of fuel and needed to make a landing on an aircraft carrier were either shot of the sky or drowned in the sea. Military vehicles like this one will NEVER need to drown or make it to an aircraft carrier - they will just have to land on the sea, float for a while until they are re-fueled or enough time for the pilot to scuttle the craft and dive! REALLY NICE! I am loving these type of people!!

I have long waited for this kind of boom in technological know-how and designs of auto engines in Nigeria. Qudoz 2 u bro!
