The fear of the NPF is the beginning of wisdom, he should have been very cautious. |

if the police men were doing nothing bad then why did they take the guy's phone. I think they were extorting money from the okada riders after all Nigerian police men are just legalised criminals and murderers who get away with anything (GOATS) |

It is unfortunate the kind of mindset most Nigerian have and most comments I've seen so far only go to embolden Police impunity the more. In advanced countries of the world, CCTV is the order. For us, corruption will nt allow our rulers to do the right thing though we have more than required. Until we arrive there, we should continue to record everyone's misdemeanor on our phones. We should nt allow them break our spirit. 1 Like |

Ok you are in Nigeria and know how your fuccked up system works, stop being a jerkass. #police-business About or more ago a man's dog was shot to death by police in Texas because he was walking his dog around his neighborhood and saw SWAT team on a crime scene so he started recording the action. When the 'police approached him, his dog as man's best friend jumped out of the car via rolled down window trying to attack the officers and kaboom they pulled the trigger... Nobody wants his arss on YouTube for some stupid shit. Moral of the story: mind your business sometimes |

Given the new trend whereby people video policemen asking for bribe and posting the videos on YouTube, the medical practitioner probably thought the policemen would eventually ask the okada man for bribe. So he wanted to have sometime to post on YouTube so as to create another fun day over police activities (especially bribe negotiations). Lesson: Be wise and use your head while trying to get an evidence against anybody, especially the NPF. This is because nobody would be glad that you are recording a material that can be used as an evidence against him in the future. |

Banned! Banned!! Banned!!!. This is a good image of Lagos state, where 'Human Right' is now 'Human Wrong'. After the governor has banned Okada riders from operating on the major roads, the Police now ban people from using 'Camera Phones' on the major roads too, because of their evil acts. |

REALITY101: Ok you are in Nigeria and know how your fuccked up system works, stop being a jerkass. #police-businessYou are a REAL JACKASS! There is no single moral in your story, its just a stewpid recount of an event, to suit you silly mindset! *It was the Dog that was shot,....Not the Man! *It was the man that was "recording" ,.... Not the Dog!! *Neither the man nor the Dog was shot FOR RECORDING A VIDEO! THE DOG WAS SHOT FOR ATTACKING THE POLICE! That is simple enough, if you attack the police and their life is "proven or provable to be endangered", they have a right to protect and sustain their life! Please stop comparing "Apples and Oranges" ...even if you're a Dolt! Eediot like yourself wan begin "form abroad" for us! Lastpage! 3 Likes |

The IGP and our legislators should kindly make it legal and appropriate to record police officers while performing their duties. If the Police is doing nothing wrong, why should they be worried about being recorded. |

The Policemen are public servants working in a presumably public area and the PPRO is ranting. She wants to know what the young man was up to. I think it is time we force these eggheads out of the Police force. She, like her colleagues are merely telling Nigerians that they are back benchers in constitutional matters. Only God knows the stress and torture the young man would have been thru. God help Nigeria. 1 Like |

76Naira: When dropouts police us, this is what we get. You are very right. Can you imagine Braide also justifying such uneducated action by the police? Where is human rights? I see a lot of people filiming the riots in Arab and Northern African countries all the while without molestation. Even in the U.S. now, there is a program whereby police officers have to film themselves in every process of arrests. But here, our police force is dragging back to Abacha days... (Moaning seriously) Ohhhh, I hope Al Mustapha's release has nothing to do with this, o. |
