Next year is my year of touring the length and breadth of Southern NIgeria and the middlebelt plus Abuja. I just need a map cos i want to touch at least three towns/cities in every state. I won't also forget some places of interest in relatively small towns.

He may be right. The truth is that i've never seen a campus that's more beautiful than what i've seen on this thread. Though i'm not sure about Africa oo. But it can be the most beautiful in Nigeria.

I think we should start from West Africa. Most of the university campuses i see outside Nigeria are beautiful. Even Ghanian universities have very beautiful campuses that may be more beautiful than that of OAU. Not to talk of Africa that includes South Africa, Kenya and North African countries. I think this is a topic i have to blog about. My research begins now...

Built by regional govt, taken over by FG in 1976 or so.

No regional govt again, some of the regional govts assets, those not taken over by FG, are now co-owned by states that now made up the old region e.g Oyo, Osun, Ondo etc (former Western region) own Oodua investments now. New Nigerian newspaper etc owned by all northenr states (that made up old northern region).

it's the best i have seen in naija - it makes UNILAG look like a glorified secondary school. okija didn't go to their dam and their near flawless zoological gardens(the scariest zoo i have ever been to).

our leaders should be ashamed of themselves that a school built in the 60s is not constantly renovated & maintained. ife is nigeria's most beautiful campus by a distance.

nahhh university of Ibadan is way cooler with nice structures

Okija don't stress ur self to snap the hostels, na wash one of the worst in the country. I repeat there is no school that can match ui feat in the country.

UI looks like a school built by the aztecs - the structures are old & lazy. go to the faculties of admin & law in OAU and see the work of architectural brilliance!
