I got 4 Hongmi 1s from my partners as a Christmas present and i gave it to my nephews in Nigeria, right now they've all discarded it because it does not support 3G. Its a good phone though, just useless outside China.

no it's not, he and I bought it on a xiaomi certified outlet and repairs shop in Qingdao, and I also bought the covers and packs there.
anyway I already read at the miui.com site that it does not support 3G outside China.
