You have the wrong approach, if you want to see an atheist come to Christ. That’s what an atheist would like you to say, because he can have you running down rabbit trails. Instead ask, "So you believe that nothing created everything--a scientific impossibility?" If Jesus came down from Heaven to visit me, and preaches to /ministers to me just like Paul's case, why wouldn't I convert?! Paul must have heard lots of Christian sermons and must have had a good understanding of Christian doctrines, yet he didn't believe what sinners told him. The only way you may live in the presence of the holy God is to be hidden in the rock of Jesus Christ (see 1 Corinthians 10:4). The pure in heart shall see God, and the only way we can become pure is through the righteousness of Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Purpose is a critical element in the survival of the species.. it can be argued that though Animals do not have Souls... they have Purpose (even though it is a myopic one). Christians deem the ultimate purpose in Life is to Worship God infinitely in eternity. all our striving to understand ourselves in perfecting this purpose ultimately ends in the placid scenario stated above.

Christians often argue that to belief in "nothing" (as they crudely label atheists) is to not have a Purpose in Life as it were. aimless, blissfully ignorant and tirelessly foolish in our sense of reason.. fortunately the tome of Christianity i.e The Holy Bible, prescribes LOVE for all regardless of the race, culture, religion, beliefs etc.. it is one Commandment that a visible Majority of Christians fail to understand or blissfully ignore when it comes to Religion... they FAIL so horribly at this i often wonder how they arrogantly place themselves on the train to Heaven.
