I find it funny that someone will hate jonathan as a person, not as a president, so much that they're willing to say obj was a good president. OBJ was one of the worst things to happen to africa. The man who solidified and democratized looting and thievery. 0 respect for rule of law, dictatorial rule over institutions that cause them all to fail because he didn't have the education to manage them.


OBJ is not all bad, he opened the door for a lot of good things to start happening, but GEJ is the first professional president this country has ever had. The only things I would mark him low on are his treatment of Amaechi, weakness on corruption (mind you he isn't the primary source and broker of it like Obasanjo was), uninspired industrial policy (Obasanjo had none what so ever), and that's about it. Either way, what he's done with power, foreign policy, transportation, finance, agriculture, rule of law, strengthening of institutions, sports, SECURITY and elections is unrivaled.

though yar adua was a lame duck, I respect what little glimpses of life he gave us, from admitting his elections were flawed, to his vision 20/20 and real respect for rule of law. In a short time he ended the MEND crisis (though OBJ had a hand as well)
