After uninstalling some trial version of softwares from my PC, it becomes difficult to re-install the software on a fresh trial. I was advice to seek for a way to remove somethings from the registry.Please nairalanders Help.if there is any contribution. me think I will appreciate

freeware software does not have registration code request based on my own past experiences I used many times!

Paid/shareware software have registration code request once 30-days trial period expired, and once you made a purchase in full that is included they provide a code for you.

You can see the differences: freeware and shareware.

@dragnet, I have access to cleaners free on line, they dont clean all because they are not registered, I was told that it could be done manually, or can u recommend any good cleaner on disc, thanks

what I use is CCleaner .exe & it works well for me. . . . . Its true it can be d0ne manually but u must knw what u're doing else u delete a wr0ng file n u g0t probs wt ur pc

it doesnt require registrati0n, its a freeware

this is what you are trying to do -

you are assuming that the trial period associated with applications is based on registry entries

this may or may not be the case. it could also be based on ini files, or the applications .exe file.

to effectively do what you nintend, you need an application like reg scanner, or a registry monitoring tool that will show registry entries recently added/updated. you will have to run this immediately after installing an application. note however, that the application manufacturers ususally make the keys very difficult to trace.

registry cleaners are unlikely to work - and you could end up seriously fking your sytem if you delete importnat registry keys( this has happened to me before). you're better off searching for keygens.

another option is to backup the registry before installing the software, then restoring  it immediately after installing the software. too tedious, and not guarnteed to work.

in short - forget it
