Five days ago, I woke up to discover that my palate(the roof of my mouth), was badly swollen. It was painful, soft and brought a lot of discomfort to me. My tongue would stray every now and then to it..

So, I had to endure the pain for two days. The second day it was larger than before and I began to think of paying the dentist a visit.
But while brushing my teeth on the third day, I put in a lot of CloseUp toothpaste and directed it with my tongue to my swollen palate. I don't know what made me do that but, I'm glad I did.

Less than three minutes, the swelling started going down till I could hardly feel it with my tongue. Same thing I did for my swollen gum.
I'm glad the ache and swelling is gone. But I can't stop wondering about the exact componet of the CloseUp toothpaste that could be responsible for the healing?
