Idi Amin: Guess OUK is preparing ahead of the obvious eventuality !!!BIAFRA!!! No more investment in Abuja or LAG. On point bro, much respect ^^^Well, I don't know about the 'Biafra' angle to your post, but i do know that we (in South South and South East) need to stop acting stupi/d and keep our investments in the old Eastern Region! You don't see 'others' investing in our place, so why should we be the ones carrying one Nigeria on our heads like mumus? 2 Likes |

The Relationship between the Calabar People and the Igbo People remain strong, even in War, their religion of friendship was cemented when the Igbos and Calabars were decimated in war. They fought and died side by side. Let them rise side by side. The labor of our heroes shall never be in vain. Half of a yellow sun, land of the rising sun. It is good to see them intermarry and invest within the colonies. We want more of this in the Niger Delta. 4 Likes |

geeez:guy Tinubu was just a Nadeco returnee prior to becoming a governor in 1999. He was no where near OUK in terms of wealth bro. OUK was the youngest Bank Chairman in Nigeria in 1994 or therebout. He was the highest donor to OBJ's election campaign where he gave 50million then. Let's agree that he stole 4 8yrs in Abia state but Tinubu equally stole for 14years from Lagos and he is still stealing from other sw states. How did a broke NADECO returnee in 1999 become the richest politician in Nigeria today? @ OP OUK is leading the way for other wealthy igbos to start thinking home. Before the infamous deportation saga, i bet my balls that OUK would have sited these projects in either Lagos or Ogun but today they are going back to their 'village' . I hope he has collected October house rent from Femi Fani Kayode. LOL 5 Likes |

Whatever you see OUK do today is Abia state money. HE milked Abia dry, while Abians were sleeping. He has not imparted on any life in the state throughout his tenure, only his stooges benefit. |

kettykin: For those looking only at the negatives and not the positive, consider this while not condoning mismanagement of public funds in any way, if Babangida and Atiku did not invest their stolen loots we would not be having Glo, Glo one, Dangote cement, sugar. If obasanjo did not invest his loot we will not be having Obasanjo farms , dangote cement , if Tinubu and James Ibori did not invest their loot we will not be having Oando, Notore, LCC, first nation , thenation newspapers, TVC, GTB, Access bank. Are you out of your mind? Where on earth did Awolowo own Coca Cola? Wema Bank? Ikeja Airport? Dunlop Tyre? You just got hearsay and failed to research. Pls do not include Awolowo in your list of robbers. I said because if a lie goes unchallenged it becomes the truth over time. WEMA Bank, Airport Hotel, Premier Hotel Ibadan, Cocoa House, Lafia Hotel, Nigeria wire and Cable, etc all belong to Oodua Investment Companies. Awolowo had the love of his people far and above himself. Pls do your research well before writing nonsense. 1 Like |

ujoinme: OP we need a source for your news cos ur post is contrdictory. How many tank farms is OUK building? your post suggest 2 one in his village and another At Ikot Abasi? The short news says he is building two: one in his home town and a larger one in Ikot Abasi for obvious reason: access to sea. |

waternogetenemy: If one Igbo marries a Yoruba, 20 Igbos marry Calabar (= Ibibio, Annang, Cross River) people. It may not be in the news because it is so common and just a backyard thing that has been happening since time immemorial. Many people from Abia state have one parent from Akwa Ibom. Moreover, marriage between Igbo and Calabar is of no interest to the Lagos press. 2 Likes |

Adejoro74: Great, am just wondering why this great story hasn't made front page. They should front page it joooor, afterall this is good news for everybody. If there is one thing am certain of, it is that Ndiigbo are not lazy, Nigeria is just a prison that is used to hold them down. (Won't allow them choose their leaders like in Anambra, won't allow them seaport or airport, won't allow them utilise the oil in their territory and the list goes on. etc) I am sure better dayz are still ahead. |

Adejoro74: Oh I understand, im not questioning his reasoning but im questioning why your ibo ego did not show until later in the paragraph. I thought "largest in Africa" or "best on the planet" or even "first in Nigeria" would appear in first paragraph, as opposed to last. What happened, you didnt guzzle enough akpu to feed the ego? Tell OUK we have space for him in West to locate this huge facility, what happened to his sworn loyalty to Oduduwa? |

re@lchange:Ndi-igbo had developed in all other areas of human endeavor but not politically. I am tempted to believe that they were beamed into our continent from somewhere else. Wilbur Smith spoke about a thing called "The pace of Africa" in which we do things in a leisurely manner, without any awareness of the commercial implications of our actions. Ndigbo simply do not do that, which tends to lead me to believe that they are Semitic in origin. It is not surprising that Ndigbo have been victims of pogroms over the years. This is historical and always happens to groups of entepreneural retailers like Phoenicians, and the Bamileke in Cameroon, the Kikuyu in Kenya. 1 Like |
