Have anybody noticed it lately,i remember those days its takes up to an hour or more to prepare beans we even add some things called 'akanwu' to fasten the cooking but just yesterday it took me just less than 20 mins to prepare the beans i ate yesternight #farts# sorry why is that? 11 Likes |

Back then, before the advancement of genetics, beans had much sulphuric contents, which make them harder to cook. But due to hybridization and progressive genetics, those with less sulpuric contents are being made everyday and sold to farmers. In time to come, we may only need cold water to melt the beans and it'll be ready. Please, forget about all I said above, I have no idea what I was saying. If you add salt at the beginning beans will take forever to cook. For beans to cook really fast delay adding salt until the beans have softened. For even faster cooking, add onion at the start of cooking. Many people know this now. So it's not that beans of today are softer but people have found a way to cook beans faster. 7 Likes |

Mehn you neva see Kano beans, up till №ω it still takes 4hrs 32mins 22sec so dee short cut -is -to put nail and spoon dats after soaking it over nite and pls remember don't use -a stove or gas use better dry bamboo sticks as fire wood. Hope this helps coppers -in dee state. Peace 9 Likes |
