If people do not speak out, no resolutions can be attained. Just finished reading about the tactics used by some Nigeria pastors to exploit congregations. Nigerians are very devout, even the white who brought in religions to Nigeria are not as religious as Nigerians especially the Christians.religion blinds Christians from seeing the truth and by the fear to question certain actions and preachings.... it is mostly supported by the common word "we are not to judge" even when it is clearly seen. Anyone can get up any day, declare him/herself a pastor, rent a warehouse and begin any acts of exploitations, after luring congregations with their charismatic acts and sometimes very questionable signs and wonders.

As in every section of society there are wolves in sheep's clothing and devil incarnates pretending to be pastors or whatever titles they command,as we know some pastors are 'self' rather than 'God' ordained as we recognize them by their fruits, the topic of anointing vs appointment is another issue.

It is obvious that most of all these contemporary churches are only exploiting congregations to achieve their objectives because of the ongoing competition among denominations. which are, construction of universities and multimillion investments own by a single person( G.O). All in the name of God. Every Sunday, congregations give away their hard-earned money to the pastors’ coffers in the form of tithes, offerings and special gifts with the deluded hope of multiplied financial blessings in return.(God is not a magician neither a money doubler) Congregations are being deceived by sowing a seed and obligation of tithe without questioning what their tithe are being used for.

I truly feel for innocent and God fearing pastors who not only take their oaths seriously, but have to take the extra work of delivering, healing, counseling and reintegrating those who have been scamed and victimized, into the church body and society as a whole, and can only commend their efforts and pray God continues to strengthen them.

I hope someday Christians will wake up from their DIVINE slumber...Shalom
