Don't bother much. What is important is your commitment towards the success of the venture.There's a role for everybody. Hence, no place for sleeping/dormant partners.

While waiting for other partners to acknowledge their partnership, I'll like to enlighten us that this type of business is easy to start and manage. However, a very powerful and consistent Advertising programme is critical to the success of a biz of this nature.

Your initiative is good because there is obvious benefit from in business synergy. Synergy optimizes your collective strength and make it productive while individual weakness are made irrelevant.
On the flip side, you all got to be careful b/c individual differences can spell doom occassionally. I will also advise you do proper analysis- I mean conduct a feasibility study on any business idea you proposed.
