The Federal Government today flagged off the reconstruction of PortHarcourt Enugu Express Road (Abia State Section) for the sum of 50 Billion Naira. The contract for the reconstruction of this strategic highway is awarded to the Arab Contractors. We thank Mr. President for extending his transformation agenda to Abia State. Just like Oliver Twist, Governor T.A. Orji requested that the Minister should direct the contractors handling the Arochukwu Ohafia Express Road back to site now that the raining season is over.

Like Oliver twist, when will commence the reconstruction of the Aba-Ikot-Ekpene road? Good development. SETRACO is handling the Imo state section of the road.

Setraco handling which section? Stop giving false news here. Arab contractors are the one handling the Owerri-Port Harcourt road. But, they are very slow. Meanwhile, the Port-Owerri section has been completed by setraco and was done wholly by rivers state government.

I don't give false news. Ask anybody who travelled from Enugu to Aba or Ph today for proof. The road you are talking about is the PH-OWERRI road and not the ENUGU-PH road. Hope you got it now.

They are working on one lane at the moment. There is a diversion at the Ihube junction.
