Very good post.I've studied Nelson Mandela for many years & I was very surprised when I saw posts on NL stating he was christian,Believe me when I say without a shred of doubt,that Mr Mandela was an ATHEIST.

He never declared his atheism publicly because he didn't want to alienate his core supporters same goes for Obama.Christianity is big in SA & the US.Atheists are still viewed by many "religious folks" as "evil."
