- There Will Be Blood: The protagonist is also the main villain.
- Infinity War; Thanos is the protagonist and also the main villain. Kind of an anti-hero.
- Fight Club: The protagonist is a terrorist and anarchist.
- Wolf of Wall Street: The protagonist is a slime ball.
- No Country for Old Men: Ditto.
- The Prestige: No clear protagonists and heroes in this one.
- Momento: The protagonist is the main villain.
- Split: The protagonist is also the villain

In blade runner 2049, the protagonist is actually a hero. He was not hunting slaves by choice, remember he is a robot following orders. However, the protagonist rose up to the occasion when it was time to do the right thing.



Old boy. The protagonist is neither a hero nor a bad guy. He was just punished because he caught the villain committing incest.......

Well, I think he's just the plot conduit to the actual hero, the Harrison Ford's character.


Nux was neither a villain or a protagonist. He's a plot prop. A memorable plot prop, but a plot prop all the same.

The Cabin in The Woods is a hilarious horror mixed with elements of sci-fi. It's unique in that aspect.
