I am presently watching Silence and I can only shake my head at the folly of Asians peasants who chose to die because of a Jewish god.

Will you have renounced or chose the torture and death sentence?

Gritty films like Joker is how WB can compete with Disney. Make dark movies that Disney can't. Offer something different, and make sure they're good. Believe me, people will see them. Joker is a testament to that.

And do you know the craziest thing? Joker didn't get a China release, and still grossed $IB! Incredible, isn't it?

Were you not one of the people that disagreed with me when I said that I hoped that Joker would make a billion at the box office?

I asked a question.

According to the events in the movie, will you have renounced or chose the torture and death sentence?

Just a simple question.

"Most likely" will accept the torture and die.

That's how much I believe in the existence of God.

But then again, it's easier to give an answer when you're not faced with the situation.

At the end of the day, it's the "Belief" that matters.

Nah Batman won't be R rated. The only candidate I see getting R rating is The Suicide Squad. And probably Black Adam, he is a good R rating character.

An R-rated Batman will the shit. WB need to stop trying to beat Disney at their game, and go for broke with their elite superheroes. I wanna see gore, lots of it. Batman is a brute, and should be let loose. I wanna see the gritty and relentless melancholy of Watchmen (2009) replicated again, but this time in Gotham.

Yea. I hear he is becoming flexible after Joker's success. Hearsay is that he might reprise his role if it's solid.

Damn! Hyped.

It pained me that Watchmen wasn't very successful.

He really was a very nice person. The actor potrayed that role as a nice person so we'll.The voice , everything.

Very underrated film. The soundtracks used in that film were world class. The long drawn out fight choreography drenched in gothic dark overtone. It's setting is a recipe for a cool R-rated Batman film.

Damn! Hyped.

The film made close to 500 mill dollars in profits, if not more.

WB won't flinch if they offered phoenix 10-20 mill dollars for the sequel.

Phoenix himself also won't be foolish to reject such offer unless he wants to pull a DDL.

My only problem is where/which storyline will the sequel explore.

Left for me, they should leave it like that.

But then again, I'm not an executive on WB's roundtable.

Yup, I felt pity for him, and subsequently felt guilty for feeling pity for him. Some of the people he killed probably deserved it, but at the end of the day, some of the things he did were despicable.

I don't understand the bolded.

I agree with you on the rest. Also based on the story arc of some of its material (The Long Halloween), it is supposed to be dark, gritty and R rated. Even if it isn't R rated but close, I'll be in love. grin

I wanna see those Gore as much as you do. With Joker's aftermath I think WB might go all out and don't give two sh!t what others say.

Moreso, if Birds of Prey and WW 84 are big hits critically and financially, especially BoP (R rated), The Batman might get it too, for the first time. grin grin I seriously pray so cool

It's already over $500mn in profits already bro. It's the storyline I'm wondering about.

Honestly I would like it to remain a standalone as it was meant. No sequels pls. Cos it might ruin the legacy and prestige of the first.
