Fast Five (2011).........7/10


Also known as the movie that changed the franchise and reduced the focus from Street Racing...and changed it to focus on bigger heists...and a blockbuster action

Dwayne Johnson's first appearance in the franchise. And he did deliver.
I didn't expect him to take much hits in this movie but he did.
Maybe he hadn't signed the contract where they limit the hits he takes...

The Prestige (2006)......10/10


Another Christopher Nolan masterpiece. He never disappoints..
So many twists and turns

The contrast between the motivation of both men to magic was great. One is pushed by love for the art of magic. While the other was pushed by the moment of thrill he gives the audience.
There is also the length both men are willing to go for their tricks

Also, I always suspected that Borden's trick was just as Cutter suspected...
But I felt a double wouldn't go the length of cutting off his fingers when Borden started performing without hiding his fingers


For the ending, why do I feel like there's still some final twist with Angier...?

One thing with Christopher Nolan movies. You don't finish them and just forget about them. Instead you keep thinking about them over and over again.

These are movies that leave an impression. Not one you forget 5 minutes after viewing

People watching "Fast X" and complaining how "fake it is are so comical. Smh, it's the car flying through hoops, never possible, gravity defying stunt that has us hooked. If you have a problem with that, then I'm sorry, Dom and the family can't help you....go watch formula one if you are looking for realism tongue

Death on The Nile (2022) - 9.5/10

I've not watched any crime/mystery movie that intrigued me as this one!
This movie has also been on my phone since last year 🤣

First of all, I'll keep saying Gal Gadot is the most beautiful actress in Hollywood... I just dey jealous that werey wey marry her. And the MF killed that beauty! 😯

The twist and turns in the movie is commendable, suspense is checked ✅ also. Agatha Christie did a good work writing the book and the director did a great job bringing the characters to life!

I also love the detective... Serious minded, super witty and eerily funny at the same time! Easily my best movie of 2022!

Why was Aquaman 2 moved from its Dec 2022 release date?

It was moved solely because of the VFX work needed (can't be ready on time) for the movie as well as reshoots on some of its scenes. Also, add up the rescheduling of other films like Shazam 2, Flash and co that were supposed to debut before it. These ultimately led to it's delay.
