Well, it's a comedy about 2 lesbians. Nobody was trying to indoctrinate you. Faults on you for not looking up the plot at least.
I agree that it's my fault for not looking up the plot, but making a comedy about two homosexual people is all part of the indoctrination. I will not watch anything that puts homosexuality in any kind of positive light because that's subliminal programming

2023 is a very bad year for movie enthusiastics.... Lots of misses and very few hits.

I see our final discussion for the year will be centred on *Smart LGtv vs Good old Black and white Tv*

So homosexual people shouldn't have their own stories told for their own audiences? How is a movie done for a different audience part of some indoctrination?

As you've said you'll not watch it, has anybody come to force you to watch it?

When they started the lgtv menace in movies and series, it was introduced mildly, many people saw through it and made some noise, but the majority kept quiet. Right now, there's hardly any movie or series where it isn't pushed to your face and shoved down your throats. Wokeism is what's destroying everything and everyone.

Robert De Niro is one of my all-time greatest actors.

I first came across this 80-year-old brilliant actor around 1994 when I watched “Goodfellas - 1990”. I no go lie, I could barely comprehend the movie because it wasn’t subtitled until I watched it again in 1999.

Over the years, I have watched a lot of De Niro movies, but tonight, I leave you with the ones that I can never get tired of watching over & over again.

1.) Goodfellas 1990 - 9/10

“I’m like Paulie in Goodfellas, you can call me the Don”.

I am not exaggerating, I have never seen anybody that watched this movie and didn’t like it.

This movie is one of the reasons I adore Martin Scorsese. This movie sweet gidi-gan.

2.) Heat 1995 - 8/10

When I was in Primary School, my friends and I used to play this game called “Police & Thieves”. I always enjoyed being a thief because the Police would be chasing after us and it’s kinda invigorating.

Now, this movie depicts what I just described above. If you enjoy watching “Police & Thieves” movies, trust me, you won’t regret watching this movie.

In fact, this movie is rated the BEST “Cops and Robbers” movie of all time.

https://m.imdb.com/list/ls062929984/

Another Cops & Robbers movie that I love so much is “The Usual Suspects - 1995, closely followed by “Training Day - 2001”.

3.) Analyze This 1999 - 8/10

This movie is like a comedy and not exceptionally good but I so much enjoy watching it. Its sequel “Analyze That - 2002” isn’t that bad as well.

4.) Casino 1995 - 9.5/10

Another masterpiece from Martin Scorsese.

Gentlemen, this is “my own” best Robert De Niro movie of all time.

In all the movies I keep in my archive, this movie is among my BEST TOP 5.

THIS MOVIE SWEET DIE!

Notable Mention:

1.) The Irishman 2019 - 8.5/10

—-

I am not happy tonight because I lost someone (who is not a family member) that once touched my life in a positive way, and funnily enough, I have been moody all day.

I bought a bottle of beer, it took me almost an hour to finish it.

I tried watching a movie, I just couldn’t concentrate.

Now, I am just lying down on my bed, fiddling with my phone, hoping sleep will come soonest.

Anyways, goodnight!
You left out his two most popular movies...
Taxi driver(1976) and Raging Bull (1980)

Movies I watched this week
Poor Things- 10/10
This movie is a masterpiece to me. I've always been a fan is Yorgos after watching the Lobster , the cinematic experience seems so original and unique and the comedy was so solid.
I was in the impression that Gladstone would win best actress but the award is certainly going to Emma

Breath of Life- 9/10
It's worth the hype

American Fiction - 7/10
It's a funny film but not what I was expecting

I'm not quite getting your point, Kaycee. Are you suggesting that the movie was made for the gay populace alone? If that is what you are saying then point me to the caveat to warn normal, heterosexual people like me off. If you can't then you are just making strawman argument.

Besides where did I say anybody is being forced to watch that gay shît?? Google the meaning of subliminal programming if you don't understand it.

QED. They have smoothly and very subtly sneaked their perversion into virtually all aspects of the mass media, including children's programming. Now we are having very young children being confused about gender identity and seeing nothing wrong with gayism.

Your screenshot though... See as that individual has been thoroughly messed up

Silent Night-

One flawed, silent man's quest for revenge. There's no sunshine in this movie; just darkness, grief, rage and relentless violence. I actually shed a few tears at the end.

This is a revenge story with a difference. I loved every minute of it despite all the blood and gore.

Sound of freedom is a Christian themed faith based movie that became an unexpected hit. Was the mainstream their target audience? Can we also argue that they are trying to subliminally program Christian values?

There are multiple movies, TV shows, books, and media in general that have a target demographic.

Would you say white people were the target audience of they cloned tyrone?

Most of the time, by looking at the poster of a movie you can already have an idea of what it is about

I see the poster of breath of life - and the poster screams faith based movie.

Why should there be a caveat to warn heterosexual people off? Do Christian movies have a caveat to warn off people who are offended by Christianity?
Do horror movies have a caveat to warn off people who are scared by it?

If the movie was actually an attempt to subliminally program you, you wouldn't have turned off the movie after 5 minutes. The whole point of subliminal programming is that the audience doesn't notice it. If you can notice the programming after a mere 5 minutes, then it's not subliminal.

My point is back when gay people started getting representation, one of the arguments you people raised was that they should go and make their own movies instead of shoving their agenda in regular movies. Now that they've gone and made their own movie, you're still accusing them of some agenda against you.
When they add caveat now, you will still find another excuse to scream agenda and programming

Someone recommended the movie here and said it was "funny". I think he even gave it a high score. What he didn't mention was the overtly gay sub-themes that smack you right in the face from the very first scene. After enduring for 5 mins, I borrowed myself brain and switched off.

so anyone who doesn't like homosexuals is automatically homophobic?

I don't like churches, so that automatically means I hate people who go to church?

Dune 2 is the only movie I will download from your list because I enjoyed the Part 1. I will not waste my data on the rest like I did for “The Killer” & “Killers of the Flower Moon”.

Rebel Moon Part I......5.5/10

Not as overly bad as many of the critics would have you believe but it's a deeply flawed movie with barely a soul and average at best. No interesting enough characters to root for or care for at all.
The only saving grace is the action and the visuals. Asides that, the characters were too plastic for my liking.

It's hilarious how General Titus played by Djimon Honsou is said to be a genius battle tactician and yet I couldn't smell shït or get a glimpse of his brain. The way they were all being recruited was a farce. So everyone would just bandy themselves together and decide to fight for a small village with little to no importance in the grand scheme of things to fight a mighty empire?

Weak acting, weak storytelling, writing and dialogue. Not much care for the story but just waiting for when it'd get to the end so I could get back to other things. It's basically just a copy and paste of STAR WARS and DUNE with a lot less charisma or identity. Identity was the sole problem of this movie cos I didn't really know what it was all about despite what the film was trying to tell me about itself because it didn't feel natural or knew what it wanted to be.
The visuals of the film is hardly breathtaking sef and only looks really good in STILLS or when you're not paying attention to the movie and more into the cinematography.

I expected very little of the movie, so it seems I wasn't much disappointed, hence more forgiving with my perception or outlook of the movie. Gareth Edwards sci-fi film, The Creator was a far better movie than this.
This is my problem with Snyder, a director that needs almost 4 hours of screentime or a director's cut to deliver a good watch.
Anyways, I ain't looking forward at all to the second part.
