coachwilcox: Another truth we need to realise is that most naija students in these ghanaian unis are relocated yahoo boys and call girls who register in some school just to get residence permit and cover for their illicit trade. If nigerian students in ghana leave almost all the private universities will collapse. Its a mad gold rush for mushroom affiliated schools or learning centers. Expanding and building new ones just to benefit from d cash cow called naija students. Coming from a naija working in ghana.its kinda hard to believe your statement in the sense that most 9ja student who relocated to ghana for studies are yahoo boys. I do not know the friends you are keeping but the ones I knew then where demanding cash from their parents. |

Adamskuty: look at this mumu, wht is being taught there if not rubbish.. Let me correct you, No university from west Africa in the Top 10. Its dominated by South African and Egyptian universities! The top 50? That list surely has KNUST, univ of Capecoast e.t.c in it! Lets be fair, there are poor private schools everywhere. Ghana must stop licensing poor schools anyway! |

Elxandre:fat lie, please mention the minister, governor or senators name. Which minister or governor would send his or her ward to any ghana university when he or she has the power to put his or her ward to any Nigerian university. Your lie is too boring, most of their ward are schooling outta africa. And those in Africa, would be SA. 1 Like |

I attended a state university but i'm in the same position wif people wif people who schooled abroad. Nigeria is gifted,we should stop belittling our country! |

To be fair, Nigeria is far bigger than Ghana, and has way higher number of Unis. So its expected to have more representatives on the list anyways. Nice Nevertheless |

Elxandre: To be fair, Nigeria is far bigger than Ghana, and has way higher number of Unis. Elxandre: ^^ Thank you sir, next time, speak on what you know. Your earlier sentence sounded as if you were positing a fact meanwhile you're not. Only one school in GH is in top 50. That lone school is even bested by nigerian uni. Ghana is saturated with mushroom unis with over bloated fees. It has become news and NUC will soon do the needful. ASUU(though I doubt) and 9ja students are crying to better these Nigerian universities that are better than GH unis, GH however is ok with their below par status quo. Nigerian students who can't pass JAMB unfortunately run to this shanty schools in GH This my friend are #FACTS and you can take it to the bank. |

Elxandre: To be fair, Nigeria is far bigger than Ghana, and has way higher number of Unis. So its expected to have more representatives on the list anyways. That won't be fair. If I'm not wrong, the OP wrote that there are 9 public Uni's in GH. Well Nigeria have over 30 Federal unis not counting the states uni. You would expect that fewer resources will be at their coffers. Imagine Nigeria with only 9 uni's. Though it won't admit everybody, its standard will rise lifting one of them to top 2 in Africa if not the best. |

Hmmmm.... For d first time in a very long time I finished reading an epistle. ASUU az started returning d spirit of reading dey took away 5months ago. From wot I read it seems d worst Nigeria university go be boss for Ghana, coaching centres like "Ayo success," "Damico" etc in Ife, Osun state nd "Ola coaching centre" in Choba, PH would've been awarding diplomas if dey ar located in Ghana. I better remain a Unique student than school in 10 blocks university, #teamuniport#. 1 Like |

sakaguchi: bro, there are many things to consider. We all know that the population of Nigeria is by far more than the population of Ghana. So because of the high difference in population, you don't expect Nigeria and Ghana to have the same number of universities The higher the number of people The higher the number of schools the higher the number of everything even thieves. 2 Likes |
