It is very wrong to use 'X'. It shows lack of respect. None of us would want our names to be misspelt.

The lord's name isn't being misspelled by replacing the Christ with an X, remember his name isn't Christ.
The Christ (the anointed/chosen one) is what he is not his name.

Christians just attached Jesus to an existing festive period the Winter Solstice, appropriated it, and now acting like the real owners.

100% true.

a good majority of christians read the bible like a children story book. the word or celebration of the Death of Christ is not recorded anywhere in the Bible. the Mass for Christ (Christ's Mass) is a Catholic Procession commemorating the Death of Christ and his sacrifice to humanity not his birth. The only mention of a similar festival in the Bible is attributed to a pagan tradition.

Jeremiah 10:2-4: "Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not." (King James Version).

whether you put an X or Chr means squat when you have no clue of the origins.

Tell them so that they will know that Xmas has absolutely nothing to do with the birth of Jesus, or Jesus at all, even though it is wonderful to have a day of celebration for Jesus the Christ but I wish they would have made it on any other day besides the day of celebration for the pagans.
We can thank Constatine for this celebration of Jesus's birthday on Dec. 25th.
