@ Razorr,

Leave Mustay alone . . . . . . . . . . .
There's food in his duodenum now so he can spew shit as usual.
How can a fasting muslim breaks his fast only to come to Nairaland and start spewing shit.
Is that what the Holy Quaran preaches?
Only Mustay breaks his fast by watching gay porn on the internet.
He is a bloody LUMMOX.

MOURINHO: WE MUST WIN
José Mourinho has been looking ahead to tomorrow night's Champions League opener against Rosenborg, and insists it is a must win game, despite the absence of what Mourinho calls 'the spine of the team'.
The manager will be without six players, including Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, two important sources of goals. They join Claudio Pizarro (calf), Ricardo Carvalho (upper leg), Michael Ballack (ankle) and Wayne Bridge (hip) on the sidelines.
As ever, Mourinho came up with an interesting analogy for the players he has missing.
'Omelette, eggs. No eggs, no omelettes. It depends on the quality of the eggs. In the supermarket you have eggs, class one, class two, class three,' he said. 'Some are more expensive than others, and some give you better omelettes. When the class one eggs are in Waitrose and you cannot go there, you have a problem. grin
'For me the problem is not to have three or four players injured, for me the problem is which three or four are injured and that's a problem,' Mourinho explained. 'When you have Drogba, Lampard, Ballack and Carvalho you are speaking about 40 per cent of the team. You are speaking about the spine of the team.
'After that you go for Pizarro and he is the second target man on the team, so should be the direct replacement for Didier, and you go to Wayne Bridge. Ashley Cole is the only left back playing every minute.
'When you speak about Drogba and Lampard, maybe you are speaking about more than 50 per cent of the goals the team scores, so they are important injuries for us, but that's the reality. I don't want to cry on it, I want to work with the players I have available.'
Tomorrow's opponents have come through two rounds of qualifying, seeing off FC Astana and Tampere United to reach the group stage, and Mourinho insists Chelsea must gain three points, and shouldn't be distracted by forthcoming fixtures.

'We must win tomorrow, after tomorrow I will say we must win at the weekend and after the weekend I will say we must win against Hull (and trash okocha cheesy ) for the Carling Cup and that's the way I approach my season, game after game, competition after competition. Now the motivation is completely on the Champions League,' he said.
'If the team doesn't want to be under pressure and wants to go quietly to the next phase it's important to win. It's not important how we play, it's important we play thinking about winning the game. Of course we respect the opponent but we think we are a better team, and we want to win the game.
Despite not having travelled to Trondheim to take in the opposition, Mourinho is no stranger to Rosenborg and their style of play.
He revealed of our opposition: 'I saw five or six videos, I couldn't go there to see them, I had no chance. The draw was made in a moment where I had no chances to go and see them live.
'I sent my assistant to see them, so now I can say I know the players
.  winkI know the way they play, their playing philosophy, so I can say I know the team. It's a team well organised, they know what they are doing on the pitch.
I don't know if they change their system to play against Chelsea, maybe they do, maybe they don't. The team I saw was a team well organised in defence with three good attacking players. The African players they have in attack have speed, quality and creativity and I'm waiting for a team trying to be compact and solid and defending well, trying to punish us in counter attacks.
'That's the normal situation in a game with two teams where clearly one team is a team with the responsibility, Chelsea, and the other team is very happy to be in Champions League and is going to try to get the best possible result without any kind of pressure.'
2007/8 is the first season for which we have been seeded in the Champions League, but Mourinho is adamant this prestige makes little difference to how Group B turned out.
'No difference at all. We've got Valencia, and they were one of the best eight teams last season. So when you are a first seed and get a team like Valencia, one of the best teams in Spain and Europe, it means not much.
'At third seed you get a German team fighting for the Bundesliga until the last game of last season, I don't think it means a lot. I don't think the draw was great for Chelsea.
'The group is basically the same as last season, we had Barcelona, we have Valencia. We had Werder Bremen, we have Schalke. We had Levski Sofia, Rosenborg is better than Levski so I think the group is not a better group than last season.'
Finally, Mourinho dismissed the idea of not qualifying for the knockout phase, and while he conceded that 'in football, anything is possible', he declared the belief he has in his team.
'I believe in my team, that we have a team to go through. First objective is to finish second. Chelsea has the conditions, the quality, and responsibility of qualifying for the last 16,' he said.

Damn, £200 million spent, and only two people can score goals? That's what I call management. That's what I call spending. That's also what I call Chelski!
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Razorr(f): 8:54am On Sep 18, 2007
Rosenburg would be tough!

They mark their opponents very strongly and they can be very physical and dangerous. sad

I hope they don't cause any injuries to our players. undecided

I also hear that they're very good with aerial balls, so our boys would have to be up to the task!

But by and large, they do not have the kind of quality players we have, so I see us winning by a wide margin! cool

@Bandit, what's up with Arseki? Heard you guys are turning Russian! grin cheesy

Mustay
I quite agree with JM.
We have no advantage with our seeding, its the same old story and we still have to work hard, i've seen simpler groups on paper but well we can only play well and come out on top.

Banderas
Every team has its engine room - key players, even you know this so your criticism is wholly unnecessary
With injury to these players, the team's position is under threat.
Do you remember your excuse for last season?
Need i say more?
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Banderas(m): 12:26pm On Sep 18, 2007
Somze, we didn't spend £200M. We spent just over a 10th of that.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by somze(f): 12:35pm On Sep 18, 2007
No matter how much you spend, you can only field 11 players and from the group that plays the most comes your engine room.

Is there a trophy for spending little money. The essence of spending is to win trophies. . . since Chelski has been winning trophies ever since they started spending, then their spending strategy is much more laudable than yours which has won you nothing over the past couple of  years.

Nobody will give you a prize for not spending.Even Porto who have spent less than you won the UCL and you are still talking
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Banderas(m): 12:44pm On Sep 18, 2007
Ah. A Man U fan speaks. Tell me friend, what's your business? Who was speaking to you friend? When did your name become Somze friend?

Somze, as we were saying, don't get me wrong, I'm not undercutting any of your players, but I insist that with £200M you should have bought the premiership for the next 7 straight years. Not 2 titles, that is simply not good enough return on investment.

As usual. We turn to the dictionary in order to communicate. Do I need to start showing you how to get the simple english statements correct before opening your dictionary again today? I can already see a large number of simple mistakes in your posts friend.

ROI is dependent on Management imposition
Take spurs for example, how much did they spend this season, yet all management wants is to qualify for champs.

@ManU fans
Please take your unnecessary rants out of here
Share your sports views nicely and leave it at that.
We have no space for your sorts
Thank you

Jackal, oooh jackal.

You remind me of an old-school "guys" with combs in their back pockets, and perfume on their handkercheifs.

We need to do something about your sense of humor, seriously.

Somze, anything you say from now on is OKAY with me. Walahi!
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by somze(f): 1:08pm On Sep 18, 2007

Last season, we only fell short by a small margin.
Semis in CL and out on penalties.
2nd in the EPL.

A lot of our short comings last season was dependent on management feud and the refusal to buy adequate cover up.

This season you notice that some one else not JM takes player's sale and acquisition decision. He still has to make do with what he has. Personally i think he's tired of the boardroom politics - he clearly does not know how to play it as evident in last season's charade. Very little managers have the audacity to take management on and these ones must have shown their worth or atleast have been in the club for years - SAF, Wenger.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Damose(m): 1:16pm On Sep 18, 2007
I strongly believe that CHELSEA is going to crush ROSENBURG. 2nite.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Banderas(m): 1:17pm On Sep 18, 2007
Somze, you see, I totally agree with what you just said. I think Mourinho is a good coach. He may be a great coach, but he hasn't yet proven that. But I also think he has a major advantage over most of the coaches in his category (the big 4), because of the kitty that has been available for him for the last two years.

This doesn't mean that Chelsea don't deserve every peice of silverware they have gotten, afterall one can indeed argue that Man U has been buying the most expensive players in the premiership for a while.

And for the record, I think it's almost impossible for Rosenborg to beat Chelsea.
