"They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death." Revelation 12:11.

I was blessed yesterday in church by one of the Associate Pastor's testimony. The above scripture readily came to my mind, and I thought sharing our testimonies could be a lot encouraging and such a powerful blessing to the Believers here. So therefore, anyone got a testimony to bless us with? Here is the testimony that blessed me so much.

The Pastor got a call from his Daughter after she went for a scan of her pregnancy. She reported that the Doctor told her she had to abort the pregnancy because the baby would be a genetic mess if at all it made it throgh nine months. Of course, they changed Doctors because of his negative stance.

The next Doctor confirmed the first result and told them the child is not likely to make it through nine months. He said if at all it does, it will only live for a few hours and they should prepare themselves for the emotional stress that will accompany that.

On hearing this report, they turned over to God's word and throughout the pregnancy, they kept speaking God's Word over the baby and the mother and believing God for a miracle. The pregancy progresed quite better than the Doctors anticipated, and when it was time to deliver, the entire hospital staff were in a bad mood because they felt the family didn't deserve to be burdened by what they anticipated the baby would be.

In preparation for this birth, an Ambulance and a number of Specialist were placed on stand-by to help keep the baby alive for as long as they can, so that the family can hold it and say good bye. On the other hand, God had a differenet plan, Hallelluyah.

When the babywas born, the Doctor examined her and said to everyone: "You may all go home now, we have a perfectly healthy baby girl."

Moralle of the whole story? God still heals today, and His Word is as dependable today as it has always been!!!

Anymore testimonies in the house? God bless!!!

Well I have a testimony too! Last year in November my son jumped down from the balcony of my mums place in a bid to be BATMAN(thats his nickname). Well I would like to say here that to the glory of God, my son came out with only a few scratches. Even the doctor that performed the CT scan was amazed and he went back home with mumsie that day. I was in Lagos. This happened on a thursday and he went to school by Monday. I know and I believe in my heart that it was by the mercies of God that he is still alive and well today because some people just have a fall from just the steps of a house and break a neck, become retarded and even died. But God spared my son, with not even a broken bone and I give him all the praise!

PRAISE THE LORD!

For me to have travelled to Nigeria safely and come back safely,i have every reason to thank God.While on board,i  had this great fear in me that our plane could crash because of the way it was swinging, but nothing happened to it.I want to thank God for journey mercies.

I want to thank God, cuz He's more than faithful. I'd been believing God for a job, for a while now, and i'd gone for an interview, it went funny, but i maintained my confession: "that in all these things i'm more than a conqueror, and all things are working together for my good." Several days later, they called me and told me they couldn't hire me for one reason or the other. i was a bit disappointed, but i wasn't moved, i may have been cast down, but i surely wasn't destroyed! but i thanked God all the same, and still maintained my confession.

When people'd ask me are you working, instead of saying no o! i don't have a job o! i'd say "i'm waiting to start, i'm just waiting for them to call me," cuz to me, in my spirit, i had a job, it just wasn't physical yet! but i believed that i'd received. Sha! on Sunday, at my cell meeting, i'd made a pledge, on Monday, the same people that turned me down, started making accomodation for me. The things they said i needed most, they changed to something else that could be gotten in days, as opposed to what they said i needed that'd take me months to get! I want to thank God, cuz once again, He proved His word works, and He's faithful.

Blessed be the name of the Lord for that testimony Tayod. God is good all the time. He's kept me healthy and alive and I give Him thanks daily.

I met a friend and church sister on a university campus some years ago who was telling us how gun men had invaded her home to steal and kill. To cut it short she recalled when an attempt was made to shoot her, but each time the gun jammed. Four times an attempt was made, and each time the gun failed to shoot.

All during this time she called on Jesus with a calmness that she later marvelled about. The men gave up and ran away. They didn't even take the stuff they had come to steal. God is good.

Praise the Lord. I got a job with an agency dec last year and was sent to a consulting firm with 4 other white girls as temporary staff. But to God be the glory, out of all of us I was the only one asked to go for interview.

Also, during the interview the only question I was asked was if i enjoyed working there and would like to continue. To cap it all, i was also told during this same inteview that it was one of our senior managers that insisted that i must be converted to a permanent staff. This man has the reputation of being a racist. The only other naija lady i met there told me that this man had never made the mistake of helping a black person talkless of a nigerian 'cos he's had issues of fraud with nigerians.I was also told that this man so much fustrated the the person i took over from that she had to resign just because she's black and a nigerian. But to God be the glory, till i left the company , God made me tha apple of eyes of all the people that matters and those who called the shots in the company.

I can't begin to mention all the favour and goodness that God showed me since that period till date . They are just too much, Praise the Lord.
