Re: V_ray Forum by Nobody: 5:12pm On Oct 22, 2010 |
@ Behind bobo, i use autograss and i use vray displacement too, u'd have to create ur own bump maps to acheive good results, better still u can create an account with cgtexture.com Most times though, i model individual grass planes, merge them together and scatter them using scatter, adv painter, max ll own script or vray scatter, gives better results and u have good control over the planes @ Cavallo : Nice work u've got there, why not post a new and recent render so it could be critisized, we all are still learning and if u are to keep on doin cg work and to remain on top, u'll be learning forever, Cheers |
Re: V_ray Forum by cavallo: 5:30pm On Oct 22, 2010 |
thanks ludnid, the process of learning never ends, heres one of my latest

Re: V_ray Forum by Nobody: 2:51pm On Oct 23, 2010 |
wonderful work carvallo, the lighting on the image and the blurry touch has me gaping , cheers Ur plants on the other hand dont blend with the scene, u should increase the saturation, make it darker and richer, also try finishing the facade closest to the car with a stone finish or darker color shade, (my thoughts) wouldnt mind having a car like that on the real , what do u use for u modelling and render, cheers. |
Re: V_ray Forum by cavallo: 1:40am On Oct 25, 2010 |
thanks for the thumbs up ludnid, I agree with u on the plants, i noticed but couldnt change it with the client on my neck. |
Re: V_ray Forum by tushbobo(m): 9:57am On Oct 28, 2010 |
Nice stuff cavallo.ur works are cool, the vegetation on the grass in the first image looks too arranged.while others look too burnt out, overall ur renders are sweet.i guess u use revit for modelling |

Re: V_ray Forum by ugo2u(m): 12:28pm On Nov 02, 2010 |
Am still a beginner, but if I will chip in something I will say for the Lampstand use the target spot light with soft falloff then use well placed (equally spaced but not too close to a wall) omni's to light up the scene. I think it will help make it look better. |
Re: V_ray Forum by snoopy(m): 9:15pm On Nov 04, 2010 |
