Power is nothing without control, that is the key. If the woman wants to be in control and you don't like the way she runs things, find a way of changing things or discharging her early enough before the power gets out of control .
If she controls stuff and is doing it the right way, i think that takes away some burden from your shoulders but in all things there should be a level of control from u as the man.
