I think this is a lofty idea. I would love to learn how to speak and write French and even Spanish. So, to all the professeur, it would be nice if you can post links to audio messages for downloads to assist in learning the language. Merci!

Iyineda: Je me présente.

justi4jesu: After the Nairaland Attack we lost our French Thread so lets Build it up again from Scratch...

Joyeuse Saint-Valentin à la Nairalanders francophone!

While any language will be useful for some jobs or for some regions,

French is the only foreign language that can be useful throughout the world as well as in the United States.

French as a foreign language is the second most frequently taught language in the world after English.

The International Organization of Francophonie has 51 member states and governments.

Of these, 28 countries have French as an official language.

French is the only language other than English spoken on five continents.

French and English are the only two global languages.

Donc nous allons répondre et poser des questions en français.

Aimez-vous la langue française?

S'il vous plaît essayer de ne pas parler anglais ici

Bien Venue On y va

i want to learn french too o...can we start again? c'est vous please

Permettez-moi Madame Justi....S'il vous plaît ....merci beaucoup.

Cheeun: I'm in to learn! cheesy

Bienvenue Cheeun...meaning welcome Cheeun..
prononce "bien-ve-nue"

Comment va tu? or comment allez vous??

meaning "how are you"?

The first prononce as "coma va tu?

the second prononce like " coma ta le vu" mostly d last letters in french are not always prononced except few..

the first one (comment va tu?) is for those u re close to, ur pals etc

whereas d second (comment allez vous?) is the polite way...dats people u don't really know n You want to show them respect....or your boss, your teacher etc....or a group of people....(maybe You want to greet two or more people at once) the pural form.

Therefore your answer will be::
"oui ça va" meaning "yes I am alright" prononce "wi sa vah"

Or
"je vais bien"...prononce " jeo veh bien" meaning "i am fine"..if u translate it one by one...dat will be "i am going well"...meaning the same thing...but go with "I am fyn"

Note: "ça va" can be both " are u alright" or "i am fyn".... it depends on your voice.

ça va? with question mark(?) prononce like "sah vah?" means "are u alright?".

"ça va" without question mark(?) is prononce like "sah vah" meaning " i am fyn"

Also note that:
Letter "C" WITH cedila dats "Ç " is prononce as "S" but Letter "C" WITHOUT cedila dats "C" is prononce as "K" (that sign under Letter C is called Cedila).

Merci beaucoup madame Justi...

OP, pourquoi tu ne m'as pas mentionnée? Néanmoins, comme un locuteur fort de français, je dois répondre a tes appels. Je suis multilingue et je cherche aussi des personnes qui parlent d'autres langues car j'en parle sept!
