According to 2006 population figure in ekiti state, National population census arrived at 2,384,212. The total registered numbers for 2014 election were 732,106, out of the said figure 285,794 were disenfranchised by inec through permanent voters card ( PVC ) which was purposely introduced as strategies to rig by selecting voters. Out of the remaining 446,312 voters, 98,679 voters were also disenfranchised by removing their registered names from the inec list which now paved way for more than half of the 347,633 voters which were reportedly as PDP sympathizers from its strongholds to exercise their franchise. Ekiti Apc was unable to detect and remonstrated the inadmissible act due to its ignorance and lackadaisical attitude towards the masses. The inauspicious act of INEC has now been put in place to oust ogbeni rauf aregbesola in August 9 gubernatorial election, but due to Apc familiarity with the masses of osun state, the inglorious act of inec to rig the coming election is exposed and demonstrated. Apc is now challenging inec to start distributing permanent voters card ( PVC ) so as to avert the insinuation of rigging. 12 Likes |

What is the essence of registration when half of the people won't be given their voters cards or will be told on Election Day that their name is missing at their ward? |
