Please note that Tecno is having a huge fight with the dealers in computer village, Ikeja. News reaching us says that Tecno using its influence sent SON officials into the market seizing 'fake' Tecno phones and arresting some personnel in the process. However, things really got out of hand when people from the market started retaliation. They attacked '3C Hub' the so called Tecno office also being used for other Tecno brands such as Itel and Carl care. Some vandals also ransacked their office and smashed windows. Here are a few pictures from the market. Most dealers closed shops due to the tension. Some sources revealed that phone dealers inside the market are refusing to sell Tecno phones any further.

However, how things go ahead for the Tecno brand only time can say.

I saw it early morning before the police sealed it off...blood and all the broken car glasses .. I thought it was an arm robbery self...
but flushing out fake products is a good motive.. does jobless guys should find a legit business.. and stop spoiling other companies names.. also the customers that consume at large.. but I doubt your line of story tho..!

SON said TRINITY took a loan to buy Hub (something like that sha,can't remember the phone name ) phones but instead went ahead to buy other brands but use the phone page. E.g they put samsung phones in the phone package they intend to buy..

Meaning the phones are fake for them to package it in that way.

When I heard that SON was going to destroy 200 Million naira worth of "fake" phones, I was shocked. That is someone's sweat. This is not the first time people would be using such kinds of phones na. We are used to it. I know they are doing their job, but I was/am still furious.
