Atleast someone is returning part of his loots back into the economy. Kudos to you Mr Atiku. If others can follow suit I believe our country situation will not remain the same instead of investing our precious money to develop other people's countries. Thumbs up.

And some will seat somewhere and say boko haram is not political motivated.. There is nothing like BH. BH is all about politics... If such guys like Atiku many for nigeria, I am sure boys wouldn't be hustling to travel out. Keep the good work and let those Mofos behind BH grind and dine with lucifer in the bottomless pit of hell..

For sure he's a good thief... In a nation where all our leaders are thieves, we have no choice but to identify the good in a few of them.

If only our polithievtians past and present could invest their loot within the country, maybe our lost glory could be restored. I wept when I saw this picture below. Even though I do not fully agree with some of the figures, it's a shame we let all our glory fade away as a nation.

We all know about all the shady deals he did when he was vp!but well done atiku and keep it up,. If only tinubu had been doing the same maybe many yorubas will still have been idolising him till now. Obj too has a farm that employs many youth let our people invest their money in nigeria rather than take it to dubai to buy houses

Pipsland78: Steal money while holding public office in Nigeria; invest the money in Nigeria; then you are praised as a hero and champion of the people - it can only be in Nigeria.
I get your point bro but in a situation where our politicians/leaders can't do without looting the nation's treasury, we can only praise those who have decided to invest (as they'll put it, give back to the society) here...At least people will benefit no matter how small...Understanding Nigeria is more difficult than chess...

If all stolen public funds are used to build industries, they will make a lot of profit and so will workers earn a living and life will be better for alot of Nigerians.

There is no difference between a thief who stole money and took it to an orphange and the one who stole and spent it all in a beer parlor. BOTH OF THEM ARE THIEVES.
That you embezzled public funds and put it to use by creating employment opportunities does not make you a saint.

bros, imagine nigeria having 100 politicians like atiku who have stolen but invested heavily in the nigerian economy ,imagine the positive effect they will have . Atiku is the largest employer of labour as a single individual and despite his political mistakes, he is to be applauded for this. Let all fomer governors ,ministers, and public office holders who have enriched themselves through public offices do the same and see if nigeria will be the same. Kudos to turaki but he should forget the presidency, let him face his business

Atiku Abubakar have this to say:

"I’m happy to play my own part. My plunge into business happened upon my retirement from public service.

Today our businesses employ thousands of people across Nigeria, and provide economic opportunity for even more.

When I joined the government in 1999, I surrendered them all to a trust. Now that I am again a private citizen I will continue to do business, to invest in opportunities where I see them.

The fact that I might get criticised, because I once held political office, or that failure is always a possibility, will never stop me from actively pursuing business opportunities where I see them".
