The only thing bland about the camry in my opinion is its interior. Though much better than its predecessors. |

Jacksolo4me: Forced Induction is usually the route to go for big power gains... Having done both I always now just go for V8 swaps. Last one I did was install a complete Ford Mustang 302 V8 into a Mazda pickup truck. Here in the US we say "no replacement for displacement".

I agree NG with regards to a big capacity V8 over a small capacity I4 turbo. The sheer low-down grunt, and sound of a V8 being driven in anger. There's just no substitute. 1 Like |

Hmmm a big displacement V8 against a tuned I4 with Turbo. Say how would a Cadillac CTS-V stack up against a similarly tuned EVO 10(Power wise No weight reduction done only engine mods) My guess is the EVO smokes the CTS-V on a launch but loses at the top end. |

Hmmmmmmmmmmm I guess I have "riced" my Acura TL(1999). Am running it on a stainless steel rear mufflers with twin exit on each pot(making it quad). Did a mid muffler delete,it sounds quite loud at 2200-2500rpm bt quiet when idling. Had to buy d stainless steel after my stock mufflers rusted out. The stainless steel is from Remus. Running also on 17/225/45 with stock 2005 Acura TL rims, painted it black and orange. Led interior lights. Planing on getting Brembo brakes soon(4 pistons),led Tail lights too,bt as my brother Tdie said,BA kudi. |

Siena: Dual turbochargers n 800hp with a blown crankcase n melted piston heads!...The quest for ultimate power on an I4T on twin garret turbochargers and running boost at 20psi.... Same power gain on a Ford Hemi V8 supercharged running say bout 11psi with little or no problems cos the block can handle it. Pretty much d days of a straight four are just about ended |

Sad to say "Ricing" is still some sort of modification... Sir do post your cars picture and let evryone judge...who knows you may get CityNG to like it. |

yungboss: Most definitely, they would still be producing them.-can't say on how they'll look though The family sedans of the future would most definitely be Technologically laden...With emissions laws and crash safety requirements, you can bet they'll be nothing compared to anything we may envision.(no more 0-60 times, Instead we'll b looking at miles per Recharge (hybrids) and pretty much an android OS)...With a society that frowns upon anything with a combustible engine within! But the futuristic Nigeria is what you see in the present! |

I just placed an order for 2pcs of White H11 7.5W Car LED Fog Lamp Light Bulbs for DRL & 2pcs of HB4 7.5W Car LED Fog Lamp Automobile Light Bulbs for the Full light. I reckon they should serve my purpose of improving visibility at Night!

Those LED bulbs give poor lighting, worse than tired old Halogens. They give whiter light, but the beam itself doesn't travel any useful distance. I'm speaking from experience, I tried these on my previous Audi S8, and was disappointed. I reverted back to new Halogen replacements, and lighting was much improved. 2 Likes |

grimadult: Pics. You haven't done anything non reversible, easily, yet. We all have different tastes so I would have not gone for the garish orange tones on the wheels (this wheels are lighter than the stockers right?). The quad exhausts, why? Did it increase your performance somehow? Trust me I would have said more but I have to be nice since I am in Ibadan which is within reach of my enemies |
Re: Your Modified Camry ' S - Any Model by Nobody: 11:33am On Jul 30, 2014 |
grimadult: I personally don't think it's much of a derail. At least we're still talking about cars. Now if we started to talk about the "loose" Women I saw on Allen avenue then that would be a derail. But I'm not a mod just an old grumpy Guy |

CityNG:you sir, have a lot of humor in your bag welcome to Nigeria. Your enemies won't see you not to worry, as for the Acura, it wasn't really riced out, the stock car has just dual exhaust tail, but his' has quad... 1 Like |

Siena: Those LED bulbs give poor lighting, worse than tired old Halogens. They give whiter light, but the beam itself doesn't travel any useful distance. Yeah those LED bulbs are mainly for show ,no visible light on the road . Halogen are still the best for FOGs , can pierce through. Hey Sienna , Am officially in the Audi club now . Got myself a C6A6 4.2. Damn Audis can make nice cars, but the maintenance can be pricy though. . Oh well, you got to pay to play. I still miss my 6sp Maxima, I gave it to my folks in Nigeria |

CityNG: If we can prove that there is no improvement from OM dual exhaust to his quad exhaust setup now, we can say he is a ricer. Dyno run I mean. For now, let's see where he takes this , I am hoping he will be thinking of headers, intake (short ram, CAI) CAMs, pulleys . All these depends on how deep his pockets are, and for Hondas, performance mods are not that expensive . So homeboy got something going on, I am not feeling the color of his rims though, that orange is not doing it for me . 9-10 yrs ago when I was into this set up , my boys and I can squeeze out 250-300hp from a B16 with no forced induction running all kinds of crazy setups. Now, I feel like am getting old and take the long way home. |
