You looneys cannot get the South West out of your mouth and life! Whatever amadioha or whatever cursed you with must surely ruin you! Why mention the West in this your useless post? South Shit and South East can not leave the South West lands and their people alone for 1 sec, why are we in the same country with these jealous pull him down people?

I really detest elebelechukwudi jonabokoharam dumbluck for many reasons but one of the worst is that he has not moved quickly to restructure this country! Yes, I know Jona does not have the balls to convene and apply a SNC to Nigeria but at least, he can bring back the next best thing, which is Regional Autonomy! Regional autonomy would tremendously improve the economic fortunes of Nigeria, kill BH immediately because the people who can kill BH because they know everything Shekau knows would be able to do that! It would be a case of them putting down the killer before he kills them and their children, all without much stress from other parts of Nigeria who know little about the terrain or the kind of ideologies these people have been infested with. The SS can take their oil for goodness sakes and sell it and make money and keep themselves at home, whoever needs to go to another region will need to be 1. Wanted 2. Has a valuable skill he / she can offer! Yes, they can choose to sell their oil internationally perhaps with the help of a standard body set up by the FG, etc. They will sell also to local refineries that will sell at locally competitive prices. The problem of militancy is again solved immediately because now the government of that region and their states know that most of the money is coming to them anyway (minus taxes, and a benchmark of fees to be paid as a flat rate to sustain the nation just like all other regions would do).

The Ibos can also do whatever they want with their oil and resources and stay in their land. If you want to live in another region, you must have a reason to be there, not for criminality or rent seeking. Again, this solves the problem of MASSOB, kidnappers, fake druggers, ritual killers, baby factories, terrorism, etc because Ibos know best who are Ibo criminals and they know that if the cancer festers, it will kill them in their own land! Yes, they can go to live in another region but the regions now set residency rules, and just like going to America, you just cannot go there and be sleeping on the ground: you must have something that you are doing there! Of course, if a region sees another man from another region who has something to offer like special skills, music, education, etc; it will make no sense for him not to get full residency rights.

The problems of the north will also be contained and the north could be divided into 3 (West, Central, East) and if any of those does not put down terrorism and religious extremism they know they will surely be killed by their own children and people! No investment will go there! No jobs! No doctors, no nurses, no good life, no freedom! If the East is crazy, the Central knows that they do not want their lives to be ruined so they would keep out the N. Easterners who are bent on destroying themselves. Same goes for the North West.

In the South West, Yorubas know better than any other how to Police themselves. They understand the language and culture, they know if a thief is from another region, even though he has learned our language! Leaders are close enough to their followers and a failing leader will not win the next election but may actually get a visit of the people in his house who are coming to put him to flight or death, so he must perform quickly! All the resources in the SW be it human resources, technology, oil, gold, agriculture, etc must be made to count immediately because the FG is waiting for its taxes at the end of the month + royalties, and any region that does not pay will be owing those royalties and benchmark taxes and accumulating interest. If a region owes so much, then a law must be passed by the supreme court (for example), that allows the FG to appropriate the resources of the region + costs until all they owe is paid. That way, the FG is not cheated too and can continue to carry out its functions.

The FG must be a very lean and mean governing machine where it gets maybe 6 representatives from each region but those representatives must be paid exactly the same amount of money BY THEIR REGION! They can elect a leader of government that must be the best among them. These are simple and easy things that can be done within 4 - 8 years but JonaBokoHaram is busy stealing money and protecting criminals. One day he will be out of power, will the SS cry marginalization then? Will they cry for regionalism then? This is the same mistake Ironsi made, he instituted unitary government, which now makes Nigeria run virtually as a unitary state, even in our democracy! Instead of him to have created equal opportunities for every region so that no part of the country can be so dominant, he did not. After he was killed and till today, Ibos are still crying to be president, which they would never have cared about if Regionalism had been more promoted and unitarianism demoted. GEJ and Ijaws might cry hard soon after missing a chance to restructure this country and give themselves a breathing space. Now they are enjoying everything in Nigeria, even that which belongs to others and they are happy. Someday, other people will enjoy what belongs to you and you will have to shut up and cry in vain! angry angry angry

And why did you cancel it? Is it because the truth pains you? I pity you Nigerians who cannot move on to a better life, right in the midst of your country by just doing simple things, make simple common sense decisions! Iraq and Eastern Ukraine is having it so bad now, does it concern Nigeria directly? NO! Because it is a different country or Nigeria is self-contained from those countries. Tell me: when you are solving a problem, is it not common sense (never mind a standard practice) to isolate the problem or problem areas? When you are integrating a solution, have you never heard of integration by parts (SS I Further Maths?) If this fhoolish president had spent the past 4 years strengthening Nigeria by pushing the political will to create regional governments, almost all agitations will become localized, keeping alive thousands of our soldiers and citizens! Those citizens can kill BH themselves (I am not talking about jungle justice) but a police force in the region and at their own state level! They will never steal a dime of that money because they know that they will be dead before morning if they cannot use superior weapons and strategy! In fact the FG can contribute direct military hardware support, satellite data, intelligence, etc to local troops who know everything a terrorist knows!

Now, see it this way if NE region were fighting this war themselves, they would have finished it off since because 1. No one wants to die or they would not wait to be killed at night by BH 2. They are paying for almost 100% of it or a high percentage like 90% with the rest coming from special funds from the FG. 3. Every house or road destroyed in their region will either have to be rebuilt in future or no roads because neither the FG or the oil in the ND is will be used to construct any road for them. So if they are farming groundnuts or selling beef, how many more thousands of groundnuts do they have to grow and sell before replacing a road built last year? This is an immediate incentive for people not to destroy something. Where I am, if you willfully destroy public property like a light post by reckless driving, well you will be paying for it from your salary!

It is so sad the only ph.d president Nigeria has ever had is the worst president since eternity and on this planet. He cares more about being president than writing his name on the sands of time.

I will not modify it because many times you people keep dragging Yorubas into a problem with a clear solution, which we've all discussed for a billion times but when you are eating sugar, you cannot stop hence the current BokoHaram president cannot stop and think of 400 years down the line but a mere 4 years, what a shame!

Why must you bring South West (Yoruba) into your post for goodness sake! We wanted Nigeria to go it's separate ways or allow a secession clause in the constitution since the days our eminent leader and Premier, Chief Obafemi Awolowo was the leading light in Nigeria, you people refused along with your colonial masters the British, the North and East. Now, nothing is working and before 24 - 48 hours, it is guaranteed that their will be another bad news or bombing in Nigeria, yet you still bring the SW into it! If I could grab your ilk by the neck, I will squeeze you until you beg for your life or swear never to mention SW (Yoruba) again! Now, we are saying okay, since no one has the balls to break Nigeria let us just localize problems and solutions and we can tackle them better and close to home, still you refused! Is it not obvious that even if 3 - 4 regions are performing well in Nigeria, it will ginger the rest to keep trying? Is it not obvious that if the 3 - 4 regions pay all their taxes, Nigeria at a Federal level will have all the revenue it needs per year, and of course a much smaller FG whose officials are paid by their regions? A region that does not meet up its pay cannot escape because 1. whatever it owes will remain and accumulate interest 2. At a certain level of indebtedness, the FG will have laws that enables it to recoup such debt by directly appropriating the resources of that region + recover all the costs of doing so until the debt is paid or reduced to acceptable levels. Now, no region will want that because it would have gained nothing but lost more because it could have paid the amounts while providing employment to its own residents, who are now productive, pay taxes, gain work experience and can contribute more meaningfully. If you people cannot see this, if your president is too phoolish to see these simple things then may God bring the sky crashing on your heads next time you mention South West or Yorubas again in your fhoolishness!

Is Whatalyf saying the truth? I read all your posts and I read very well but I am so pissed off with Nigeria, more pissed off than the people who actually live there, who have no power, no running water, no security, cannot find decent jobs, at the mercy of armed robbers and kidnappers, etc but they still shout GEJ till they become victims of JonaBokoHaram (hopefully soon)? These are people who will die at the US embassy to get a mere visiting visa for 4 weeks, yet they do not think or want their own country to be better than it is currently!

Mr. Whatlyf, are you from the SS? Can you get a message across to your president GEJ? Will Nigeria continue to be like this? Honestly, I don't want to pity Nigerians anymore but I still have family who live there! Everyone cannot come to America. If something bad happens in any part of Nigerians today and you don't care because it is not in your state or region, is it not a matter of time before it gets into your own family house? When BH captures all the NE, all the north, will they not go Anambra, Port Harcourt and Lagos? When they finish Anambra, who will stop them from turning next door Imo State and Delta on its head? Now is the time to isolate the cancer and scourge so you can kill it quickly but Jonaphoolish is asking for another $ 1 B, when all he needs right now is not to spend another dollar but first a political solution and restructuring of Nigeria! Due to the intellectual capacity and brilliant strategy of Chief Awolowo, Nigeria's defacto deputy Head of State during the Biafra - Nigeria war, Nigeria won a real war in record time 2 years 6 months and 9 days (with several days of rest for our Ibo brothers in between fights to rest and re-think) without borrowing a single dime! He did not just throw every money in the coffers at the war but containment (e.g. the creation of the initial states). Jonathan is a real disappointment with his primary school useless Ph. D.

As much as you are disappointed with the incumbent, I am too. As an Ijaw, my people are still suffering from unemployment, environmental degregation, criminals sharing our common wealth, oil theft among others. The man Jonathan is clearly not a leader. This is the time we restructure the system, Regional system, SNC etc. But instead, Mr. President is more concerned with spending big on Projects and Contracts with no result on ground, shielding his political friends that are corrupt, insulting the sensibilities of nigerians by granting pardon tho thieves and withrawing corruption cases. Instead of Appointing based on capacity, he appoints based on political and party loyalty.he values the opinion of the looting class than the public. He politicise terrorism and promote ethno-religious division by his actions and inactions.

I don't have his ears. I'm no where near the seat of power. I wish I can tell him how disappointed I and some others are in him.

BARCANISTA, it is in insult on the Ijaw nation to discuss Kaiama declaration on Nairaland or are you out of your mind? I Shall address some of the issues you raised later tonight but first you can not be in PDP or APC and be claiming love for Ijawland or championing Ijaw agitation, it is the height of hypocrisy, a trait least expected of a self acclaimed Ijaw patriot who insults respected Ijaw patriots like chief E.K Clark.#BARCANISTA, it is in insult on the Ijaw nation to discuss Kaiama declaration on Nairaland or are you out of your mind? Guy easy na. When did Kaima declaration become a secret document? As for E.K Clark and some of our "Elders", if not for the respect I have for age i'd have said worse about them.

My position on Ijaw struggle has always been known. The actualization of Kaima declaration is very paramount to me. I don't see how support for a political party negate it. Anyway, lets discuss more on FB(If you rather want a private discussion on this issue)
