Mikel is presently at the decline, I will suggest he go and look for another club were he be greatly appreciated and more of game time opportunities, he is widely criticized yes, but its just for him to play more like the mikel we once knew |

Well, mikels performance @ d world cup was below average but there is something most of our managers/coach has failed to realise that's why our midfield still lacks that special touches/moves.. Mikel is a defensive midfield not an attacking midfielder.. And if u keep expecting him to move forward instead of getting somebody like Haruna Lukman to do d job for him while he plays has dendensive midfielder ! We will keep arriving @ d same point.. |

Maycher: He used to be a good player. Dunno what really happened to him. He got greedy and was led by the nose by Daniel Shittu to choose Chelsea over United with Jose as manager. He was never going to get the regular minutes at Chelsea. At the point where United were after him, anybody would have sufficed and Mikel would have improved his craft as an attacking midfielder that United were looking for. Even at Chelsea he has not bothered to convince the managers that have coached him that he can lead the offensive play from the middle. Only content with picking up his weekly wage, while his contemporary Leo Messi strives for world domination. 2 Likes |

They changed a creative attacking midfielder to a holding deep lying midfielder and killed his confidence. Go look at his stats and weep.. a player with more sideways and back pass completion than forward passes. A player who had very few shots at goal. Mourinho destroyed his confidence.
