NSNA: FIFA should realise this is Nigeria and not some small African Nation that they can walk over.

Nigeria has companies that can take over like GLO.

Take a hike Addidas
since when did glo start making sports kits?

Wale112: So When Will Nigeria Win A Game Against Ghana? angry angry

Since 2006 Nigeria has never won a game against Ghana. Nigeria has not even been to Quarter finals of world cup before, but they went to world cup before Ghana. Why? wink

Discuss grin grin
but Ghana is a perenial under achiever in football history back in africa. U made it to d WC quater final, that was a century ago. Nigeria is still a better football country in d eyes of d world, Ghana is trying to meet up.

MissMeiya: Dumb comments, as expected. Your country's team just lost a major sponsor, and someone says we should get Gucci. This freaking site.

I expected this, with the government trying to play games with a private organization. Adidas didn't sign up to deal with the nonsense that is the FG. No wonder they pulled out. And they were a second resort. Who now, will offer to replace them? Naming different brands like NFF has a CHOICE.

FG needs to deal with more important issues and stay away from football completely.

wetin d vex u?
FG should stay away frm football right?but u will be de 1st to demand dat FG should sponsor any of team for tournament.
are u aware that most countries FA are self sufficient that is why their FG cant interfer.
countries like spain, england, etc, clubs build their stadia, hence govt cant tell them wat to do and wat not to do but here in nigeria and africa, the fg does almost everything including match bonuses and even staffers salaries,so now tell me why they shouldnt detect wat our FA does?
fifa are just sily.they dont understand how africa operates.
if FG decides not to sponsor any of our team,u will see dat we wont go anywhere.

Does this their contract provide a cure for Ebola? If NO, they should quietly leave us alone. Ebola is the issue now not their contract. No one wants to touch Nigeria now, not even with a long pole, so we really have no need for their contract. What use is the contract when Rwanda and all other countries are planning not to even play football with us again? In short i am vexing###

African Champion - But 33rd in the world...

SMH...Maybe you are the dullard here, because whatever we call champion is superior to every other thing in such field, how come they are 3rd in Africa if truly thry are the African Champion.

Danycrusoe: there is also a local kit making company in d mould OWU kit company. They make kits for half of d Nigeria Premier League teams. I'll like it if dey can take over
...looking inward is the way to go because it greatly improves the country's economy and stops foreign kits company from over riding our national teams.

The only sensible comment so far on this thread. as usual, others are letting sentiment cloud their judgments. That's why this country is in this useless state.

HYBREED: nice one ..... Or we can make do with these companies like hummels, kappa, asicsn reebok et al..... Not the jersey but the talent that dorns the shirt that matters. By the time we dominate football, they will come begging with mega offers.

Hahahahaha, it's good to dream. But with what structure are you gonna dominate football?

Why would they want to stay away from football? There's money to be looted, that's all they're in for.

No mind dem jare. U even try self to respond that stunningly delusional post.

Do they even understand the massive undertaking infrastructure and money wise that Germany had to undertake before they could win the World Cup, talk less of a country like Nigeria.

Are you kidding me? You do know that Nigeria is a poor country right and that the FA cannot afford to raise enough money to be an entity independent of the Sports ministry?
Please don't look at Nigeria from a European point of view. Different parameters amigo. There is a reason why we are a "top down" country, decision making is centralized for a reason.
