One is called Awolowo Way, the other Awolowo Road.

I saw your post in the Diary section about the history of some our popular private radio stations and OAPs. I did enjoy it. I only started listening to radio seriously in the late '90s when HipHop/Rap was the king of the airways.

However there's this particular presenter I liked. He was with OGBC and used to present 2 programs. "Mixed Grille", a Socio-Political phone-in program on Saturday afternoons, 1pm to 3pm and "Total Mood Turnover" (TMT) a radio trivia phone-in program on Sundays, 2pm to 4pm. I never missed a Saturday episode of Mixed Grille between 2001 and 2002. Do you happen to know this presenter?

Ikorodu road is not a street. It is difficult to exclude Awolowo road in Ikoyi and Ikeja. That of Ikeja because you have the state secretariat there and Awolowo road because it is at the heart of Southwest Ikoyi.

There is even an Awolowo road in Ikorodu which is now a dual carriage road. The name Awolowo has become a brand forever
