Prove himself to you for sharing his experience? As who? As what? Has he offered any services? Has he said he is planning on offering any services?

"Let him come and prove himself." As if what the OP has done is an outrageously impossible thing.

Wake up bros. People with actual lives are also on NL. They can decide to make a post or two from time to time.

They don't have anything better to do.

Wake up call, based on what? If you want someone to take you seriously, use cold, hard FACTS. And use proper spelling and punctuation.

As an expat, my father and I experienced almost all of the problems the OP described. Even if you decide not to patronize his business, this thread is educational. Don't be a dunce.
__________

Interesting. So, like the op, you are also an expat who was also involved in haulage business, and also faced the same challenges, and also happened to be on nairaland shortly after this thread opened, and also commenting.

I see, the Op was to give the appearance of a gentle, considerate, and helpful contributor, while you were to be the aggressive one who bashed any commenter who dared to ask any question into submission abi?

Got it...

Attack the messenger all you want but the question is, did you get the message from the write-up?
I know it`s on the front page and open to the usual NL barasana but isn`t it too early to start casting doubts on the OP`s motive (If any).
There`s a reason why we have PDP/APC and Tonto Dike threads on the FP to satisfy various needs. This thread is aimed at business inclined persons on NL.

This is my line of business and why it might sound like French to you, what the OP is saying is quite simple. Ordinarily even if you just buy 2-3 mini vans and approach warehouses in within your town, you can strike a couple of deals to haul or distribute goods for them quite easily.

Let the man commit a crime before you crucify him abeg.

Are you stúpid? Is that what I said? Stop bringing me into useless argument.

This is what happens when you bring threads like this to the front page. Like the last time, when that programmer thread that wound up on the front page. Dumb comments everywhere. Stick to Tonte Dike and Tina Savage and salt water.

Note to my followers: I'm being accused of being from Thailand -_-

ThaiAlNigeria: We are in the process of revamping our website. Please note that our website email info@thai-alpha.com is not currently working. It will take around 2 months to fully renovate and change our website. Until then you can send me an email on bangkokce@hotmail.com

Sparrow - Thank you for the welcome bro!

3cycle - Thanks for your interest! There's alot more to it which I will try to explain the in next post.

MyIncorp - Thank you for your interest! We'll definitely connect someday and when we can, we will refer your company to other people.

We will definitely do our best to see how we can benefit each other even if there is no business taking place between us. You're most welcome to send me an email at bangkokce@hotmail.com

femokuc0 - Any post that enhances the image and encourages more confidence in Nigeria is welcome. Your blog will also give us insights for our research as we continue to pitch to investors around the world to invest in Nigeria.

Excellent write up you have there. It even inspires me more that you will not give in to "money under the table". Corruption remains a bane to transparent businesses.

MissMeiya: Love this. ThaiAlNigeria, my father and I experienced many of the same problems you did. I'm learning a lot from this. Thank you for taking the time to detail your experiences. I'm emailing this to my dad.

When I get a chance later, will be back with questions.

Well, above is your exact post Madam.

And why would you be so unnecessarily aggressive if you did not have a stake in the Op's scheme?

Oh, I just saw that you've removed the part of the post where you claimed to be an expat!

Methinks that you are now an Independent transporter in need of more trucks for expansion.

Are you based in Lagos ?.
True talk, think he's after more trucks too, but that ain't a bad idea, so as long as they keep to the stipulated agreement

ThaiAlNigeria: Greetings Nairalanders,

If you are interested, I will next write the second phase of our story later and tell you how & why we succeeded and the extreme difficulties (To the point where we were about to lose most of our fortunes) we faced before we succeeded in our next venture. (Haulage)

My humblest regards.

Your Friend.
Sai wadee ! Why are thai names too long ? Welcome to Nigeria, hope to read more of your stories. This is NaijaSiam connections. From Lagos to Bangkok. Doing business in thai is not also easy. The Farangs in thais complains about doing business in thai. What happens in naija is similarly the same as in thailand.

MisMeiya, you are working hand in hand with the Op or you are one and the same person.

Tell people exactly what you guys want. If you need people to give you trucks, then why not be open about it so people know what they are getting into.

It's up to people to decide if they want to go into business with people who use underhand means to entice them into a business relationship.

Bravo!Very deep and insightful write up.You have touched so many areas that the so called JIBBS were hiding from prospective investors.Since you have the practical experience in the field of Haulage now, don't you think it will be nice for your company to start taking Trucks from interested people from Nairaland.I will love to go into the business and I mean slowly but I will prefer a very trustworthy company for a start. If you are willing to accept to manage trucks on my behalf you can send me your full contact and I can as well arrange with trustworthy contact in Nigeria to do the follow-up.

why do I feel this guy is the poster?

Seriously. They've accused no less than three different people of either being the OP or working with him, in some nefarious plot. The word "scheme" was used. Can you imagine?

And then you see them in other threads, claiming ebola is a secret weapon as part of some Ultimate Gay Mission.

I think they are not many though. They are just the loudest. And it's annoying when mature people are trying to have a discussion. That's why I hate when threads like this come to the front page.

E b like say me and u dey reason same way.a thai with this type of english is not possible, from his first post,i just dey laff, see format and migerians are gullible, kindly tell him to tell you the meaning of his email address,he as made good money from his so called biz and yet does not have a (scam)website.nigerians,u better shine your eyes, this is confirm scam,at the end of the day,d op will either tell you he as trucks to sell or one thing or the other.gullible nigerians are already praising him.even my cousin wey get just 2 trucks get website+email attached.
How can it be scam?? So because he has no website yet then he qualifies as a scammer or dont you know those who own web sites(jumia, konga and co) do that for ulterior motives than honest hardworking individuals who might not be inclined to IT and their bizeness may not be hurt by that approach?...The written english is pure, thailand like nija, was a former British colony and so the OPs is on point and when you spend a few weeks working with the locals in nija the pidgin spirit will surely rub off on you...Abi OP? Don't answer them. Don't even read their posts. It will make your head hurt.

Also, I went to his profile--The company has a website. Compared the typical level of most Nigerian business websites and yahoo/gmail email addresses, someone on his web team knows what they're doing. I hate mediocrity.

Why should I spare feelings? If you say something stúpid, I will call you stúpid. If that hurts your feelings, you should think before you speak, and stop saying stúpid things. I'm not your mommy.

Peradventure, his posts were written by a Nigerian partner or a member of his team. The writing is above what an average Thai English-speaker would have written. I might be wrong though. undecided
