And you think if GEJ leaves office the insurgency will die out?

Guy you are in for a very long thing.

The north is about to go full ret@rd soon. The legion of almajiri's who have no sense of belonging in this current millennium will rather have a boko haram state come to pass since then and then only will they be able to adjust to a certain level. The hope of plunder and free women is also an allure that makes boko camps keep swelling to the brim with new recruits.

Just get ready anytime soon to see that truck load of "friendly" rebels cross down the SW to dip their koran and ensure full compliance to their style of Islam which makes non Hausa/Fulani/Kanuris irrespective if you are a muslim or not subjugated to their rule.

Enjoy the Nigeria you know of today and GEJ for these are truly end times.

End time indeed!

Fashola has a point. When you are privy to certain levels of information, then you know the true situation of things. The media which most rely on is just full of sensationalism, anything to sell their brand.

kelitacliff: it seems u have a better idea. One question for u, if u are d president wat will u do?

The problem has never been what to do, but President Jonathan's inability to do something significant or comprehensive. The only efforts he puts on are most times a reaction or too late.

"If what you are doing is not producing the desired results, then you are not doing it properly" - Egift 2014

Some of the things that should have commenced in earnest 5 years ago, include but not limited to:

- Law Enforcement: Investigate all cases of allegation of Sponsors, Arrest and prosecute all those found wanting in courts of competent jurisdiction. Seek the maximum punishment possible.

- Attacks: Infiltrate all ranks of the groups and increase security intelligence. Have locals doing most of the tasks. Send in well train small numbers of forces to take out insurgents leaders.

- Security Templates: Have various security agencies to work out "Template of Actions" on Tip offs, Hostage Situation, Abductions, Attacks, Deserter, Medical, Riots, etc.

- Development: Create jobs, Basic Amenities, etc in these communities and for Nigerians there. If it is hostile, use local workforce. And make sure these communities feel the dividends from government, etc.

- Collaboration: Harness Nigeria's human capacity (collaborate will community, religious, government and other leaders to bring a lasting solution.

- Others: Outlaw and other illegal groups. Train and equip our Soldiers. Among other things that need to be done.

In Nigeria and even here on nairaland people rarely make objective comments devoid of sentiments, bigotry and hate.
Even those at the receiving end of all these societal ills (populace) have themselves become partisan, tribalistic and the likes.
I'm refering to you, yes all of you who have now become party agents without salary. Even if you are a paid party agent just remember that when Nigeria starts to boil it will get to you too.
Peace.

Yes. Anyone, anything can do a better job than the failure in Aso Rock. The first way to solve a problem is to remove the Source.

By removing the folks enriching themselves and exploiting the situation is one sure step to resolve this insecurity situation. How can his best solution be demanding for a billion dollar Loan? What has he done with the over a Tillion naira budget? BTW, once he is gone, nobody will be shielding the Sponsors again (How many Boko Haram sponsors prosecuted and convicted in a competent court for more than 5 years of being in power?).

Good to know how warped your thinking is. I truly wish you could present YOURSELF for the high office . We know your likes.

egift: The more details details you find out Jonathan has, the more you agree he deserves all the blame for this failure:
- There is no was not informed of the abduction few hours after it happened, yet he was in Kano dancing Skelewu with a female female party agent.
- He has not visited the community months after it happened.
- His sent out his attack dogs to convince the world it was a scam (even tarnishing our national reputation the more before the world).
- He summoned the victims to visit him instead of visiting them. He even tried to bribe them too.
- His wive made caricature of the plights of the Chibok victims with a crocodile tears on National TV.
- He turned deaf ears and played dumb to all the calls and campaigns to do something meaning and be a leader for once.
- He had people negotiate on his behave and never had the gut to finish it, pull out at the dieing minute. Even lying about it.
- Overseeing the most corrupt administration in history (where Police Pension and Security Budget are stolen with anyone getting punished.
- All the folks accused of founding, masterminding and funding terror, all have very close ties with Jonathan's administration.
- And so much more...

With the current security situation in Nigeria, Jonathan has failed morally, patriotically, politically, economically, as a father of the nation, as a leader, technically, strategically, responsively and mentally. Except when it comes to corruption (inflating security budget and demanding a Billion Dollar Loan).

One thing I know is that downfall or collapsed of this one world has no boundary. The situation in Nigeria is between oppressor (rich) and oppressed (poor). We are in a dilemma and the deterioration of the situations are getting worst day by day without sign of rectification.
sincerely, Nigeria youth is the cause of present dastard position of the nation as it has failed to defined its moral and logical existence. We have a country where middle class is gradually fading and reduced to almost nothing. The graduates are not relevant to the system that produce them. even the working class is always lamenting over extravagant salary that valueless due to inflation rate.
I just can’t imagine a graduate yet unemployed after leaving school several years supporting this government! that my thought is never in anyway similar to the way Nigerians reason. The government introduce surep for purpose of youth empowerment if I may right, How many people or Nigerians benefit from this project? The one I tried for my little ones who are looking for job, I was scammed with sum of N30,000 without any job offer. In fact I was asked to pay more money so as to facilitate the job before I regain my sense and discovered that it is all scam and evil inhuman act of this government. If you are doubting this fact, the immigration Job that got poor masses stampede to death in their numbers was just some moths back. I believe that should have message us enough about evil capability of this regime.
I was watching Channel news yesterday and I saw Alao AKala, the formal governor of Oyo state mocking God by acknowledging what God has not been released to him. It’s just unfortunate that this country can be reduced to rubbish and obvious nonsense with Youth been brainwash and subject to waste. It is this same youth that you will see in the social media justifying why their lives shall remain perpetual ruin without any choice. The last time I check I discovered that- the poor management of our institutions was deliberate and this can be access in mental status of our graduate today. The duplication of research project by final year student in Nigeria universities with lecturer been the architect of such bad act is more reason why Nigeria system failed to work.
I cry for this country!!

You are obviously a Jonathan hater, which you have the inalienable right to. The current CDS is from Adamawa, who is no friend of Jonathan. Jonathan being the C-in-C has given all the funds requested by the CDS and COAS. He has even changed the COAS and CDS for good effect. The 'West' meanwhile has refused to sell arms to Nigeria. A policy that has been in force since Abacha regime. The armed forces have been buying arms in black market. Those in the know (like Dr Stephen Davis, who has spoken to evil Shekau) praise Jonathan for his sterling effort, however, people like you and Lai Mohammed will only rest if Jonathan resigns or even 'dies' in office. I feel sad that instead of advancing ways to contain these bestial, inhuman vagabonds, you are bent on blaming others for a problem that has always been in Nigeria well before the present regime.

And what stops you from getting them?
Don't just comment because you can. Fashola is not on the same party with the President, yet he's indirectly telling people to bear with him. But that was difficult for you to comprehend. Do you think the president wants the Chibok girls to be in captivity forever? You can't successfully rule a nation where a group of people feel they're deprived of their right of leadership. I wouldn't be surprised, if some of the northern leaders knows the whereabouts of those girls.
